 This does a number of key things. One, the modified plate still gives you a good amount of torsional support so you're still covered on that end. Two, by concentrating specifically on the lateral part, the shoe maintains a little bit more flexibility. These right here are the last shoes that are reviewed

 The insoles of the shoe are your standard ortholite insoles if you take into consideration the price point of the shoe once again. I Think that the above average cushion setup is more than okay because all the other features more than make up for it. the iso plate, the light weight of the shoe, the great adaptable fit. None of all those things matter If it hadn't nailed the very Foundation of a performance basketball shoe that is, of course, the traction

 The traction really is the glue that ties in all the great features about the shoe. The translucent protection pattern in these shoes are filled with tightly packed lines that will definitely fulfill any of your multi-directional needs. That grip retraction pattern works very well with the isoplate system along with that wide forefoot base so that it allows you to plant your foot somewhere and push off of it and change direction whenever you want if you play indoors a lot, just like me, I Think you'll be very happy with the traction performance of these shoes. It does pick up some dust very quickly, but I Do think that the outsole threads are raised just enough to prevent any dust from collecting too quickly on the surface level of the outsole

 uh to me. So uh yeah, tell us what you guys think of the aesthetics down in the comment section below. So wrapping things up, the Luca one is a solid shoe. It's just one downfall for me personally, and that was a fit

 I still really enjoyed playing in it and this shoe will like loosely be in my rotation. If this shoe fit me well like for example in like the Curry 9. If it fit me like the Curry 9s or like the Jordan 36, um then I would like to shoot a lot more right? Um, But anyways, that about wraps up my performance review of the Jordan Luca one again. If you guys want a cough I try to leave a link in the description box but that's it

 so do be careful about that if you don't like the wipe. But if you don't mind wiping and you keep up with your wipes and you should be fine playing on a pretty dirty court. Also, for durability, I don't think it's gonna be amazing, right? The grooves are kind of thin and it's moved by my fingers fairly easily. Um, like it's not super soft, but also it's not super hard, right? So I feel like as far as durability goes on the outdoor court, it would be okay, but not the best option

 Uh, but it is crazy cage so I do have my doubts about that. Um, but overall, I mean the traction is good, the materials feel minimal. It's a lightweight shoe, Support is great. So I mean if you have a wider foot and you want a really responsive shoot, then this is a great option

Weekly Small Talk Thread

 But again, like I said for me, fit was perfect. It's a nice cozy fit lengthwise. I know a lot of people said that these look like they run long, but they actually don't. The length is perfect in my opinion

 The Insole is easily removable. You can try out some different options like the move Insole which we've done a few videos on. check that out if you haven't But as far as what you get out of the box with the shoe just keeping everything to manufacturer standards, I would prefer a little bit more torsional support, but overall the support on the shoe is enough to get the job done in my opinion. Coming in at number four, I'm going with the fit, which is true to size

 [Music] At number five, I am going with support, which was good on the shoe, but it could be better in some aspects. All of the usual support features are there, starting with a nice stable base that's low to the ground and you actually sit within the midsole a bit, so there's a plus there. The upper is supportive as well, but we'll get to that when we get to materials. Hill support is present and effective so you have an internal heel counter

 It's actually a perfect fit for me and I think it would be a good fit for wide footers as well just because the upper is soft enough that with some break in you shouldn't really have too much issues or irritation or anything like that. I think I've heard a few why for to say that they went true to size and they were finding them as well. If you happen to be a wide footer that's tried the V2 out, let us know down in the comments what your experience has been with them just so we can help more people out. I'm not a why for them myself, so that's that

New Balance Two Wxy V2 Performance Review

I love the look of these shoes. The fit is alright - I was worried after some reviews said they were too narrow but I don't have any problems there. They're a bit longer than my last UA shoes in the same size but not by much. They're comfortable and the grip is excellent

Great look and feel, poor durability

 So if you're doing this type of movement, you have a little bit more like surface area. You have a little bit more of the outsole touching the ground, which gives you better grip if you're doing those types of movements. So I really like that. And also, as we can see here on the medial side, the rubber does come up a good amount

 So if you're going like this, you have very little surface area. Uh, to actually stop you from slipping out, right? So it's only this part of the shoe that's touching the ground, but here in the New Balance, it's curved more. So if you're doing this type of movement, you have a little bit more like surface area. You have a little bit more of the outsole touching the ground, which gives you better grip if you're doing those types of movements

 and this shoe performs very very well. Traction is really good. I love the outsole curvature. Cushion is very nice and responsive

 So I really like that. And also, as we can see here on the medial side, the rubber does come up a good amount. So if you're doing those types of movements as well, you have a little bit more grip coming up here into the midsole. So the traction was surprisingly very, very good
