 It also tops out at 200 lbs recommended weight for the biggest size which means it might be a little soft for what you want.

I've been snowboarding for a few years now and I cannot imagine anything topping this. That being said, I have a dilemma. I went to get a board for the first time to stop renting. It's awesome, skip the line, hit the lift. This being said, I got fitted into something that I didn't know wouldn't work very well for me. The bindings were sized too small, and the board is not quite the performer that I was hoping for. It doesn't seem designed for 'speed' but more for playing around and hitting stuff...a 'rock board' if you will. Now I'm not entirely surprised that the bindings were fitted small as I wear a size 13 boot, 6' 4", and 205lbs. I already have some bindings on the way, but I'd like a board that will not only fit my feet, but has more of a powerhouse design if you will. I know directional boards are an option, or other styles which are great, but im looking for a specific board that you like, or heard other like.

Recommendation for something kind of specific

 I'm riding the 154cm 2020 model with my bindings set up at the angles of positive 12 on the front foot, negative 9 on the back and a width of just under 22 inches. I weigh 72kg or 160lbs and am 6ft tall. I'm wearing mid-stiff flex, I'm wearing mid-flexing Solomon Launch boots which are size 9.5

 I'll mainly be comparing the Mountain Twin to the Captain of Mercury because they have very similar features and I've spent quite a bit of time riding both boards. There's also the upgraded Ultra Mountain Twin that has a stiffer flex, lighter weight and a faster base. I think that the Mercury sits somewhere in the middle between the regular Mountain Twin and the Ultra Mountain Twin. Both the Mountain Twin and the Mercury have a profile with camber on your feet, rocker on the nose and tail, a setback stance, mid-stiff flex, sintered base and some sort of edge design to give you better grip on ice

 Although Jones rate the Mountain Twin as having a flex rating of 7 out of 10, it feels softer than that to me, especially once it's broken in. I would say at most it's a medium flex. That isn't to say it feels too soft, it's just a lot easier to move around and flex than the Mercury. The Mountain Twin and Ultra Mountain Twin are the only two men's boards in the Jones line that don't have any spoon in the nose or tail so they have a very direct feel when starting a turn

Jones Mountain Twin Snowboard Review

 Hey it's Locky and I've got a review of the 2020 Jones Mountain Twin.

 This would be the most useful board in the Jones line that can ride a bit of everything

 I'll go through how it turns, it's pop, speed, flex and float in powder.

 It has the cam rock profile which has traditional camber under your feet

 with rocker on the nose and tail. It has a progressive side cut,

 traction tech which is the serrated edges for extra grip on ice,

 a medium stiff flex and two centimeters setback stands.

 It has tri-axe fiberglass which means that there are three directions of fibers that

 give the board a little bit more torsional strength when it's being twisted

 and a sintered 7000 base. There are a few features in it that are a bit more environmentally friendly.

 It has recycled ABS sidewalls, recycled edges,

 the bio-plastic top sheet is made from castor beans and it uses a bio-based renewable epoxy.

 I'll mainly be comparing the Mountain Twin to the Captain of Mercury because they have

 very similar features and I've spent quite a bit of time riding both boards.

 There's also the upgraded Ultra Mountain Twin that has a stiffer flex, lighter weight and a faster
