Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male vs Joop! Homme

Love this scent, and so do other people! However, it only lasts about an hour and fades away very easily in mild temperatures. Sadly, there is no stronger and longer lasting version of the same scent (I checked many times) ; the only one that comes close is Ultramale , but some can argue it’s a completely different cologne from la male.

Very nice fragrance. I like it it pretty much. I definitely get a lot of iris in this fragrance, with a little bit of vanilla, and lavender. I love the color of the juice in the bottle

This is definitely NOT even close to old original Joop. Actually has the cheap "oud" scent. (Strong). Don't waist the money on this expensive cheap smell!!!

pros last long time girls like it cons you kinda smell like a girl Overall i have no regrets, got a great price on amazon and will keep this in my rotation and use. its a good cologne to wear going out to bars or dates. Not something I would wear in professional setting, thats where my dolce&gabbana is the best for. DG is my professional cologne as i call it, work, meetings, etc

It all started with the trip where I bought the Joop Homme EDP, where I tried a variety of perfumes whose packaging/brand (yeah, kind of a superficial way of doing it) caught my eye, and this was one of them. When I tried it initially the really bitter opening put me off, but after some time (getting used to the smell and letting it go through its opener) the smell stuck with me even as I bought the Joop. A few weeks pass and I go back to the exact same store, and after deliberating for an unnecessarily long time I bought it. It's probably more of an acquired taste for me, but I love the warm and spicy feeling this perfume gives off
