Every early review I could find stated that the 3 had better bass and overall sound than the 2. If that is the case then the 2 must be a really bad speaker. Sure this speaker sounds pretty good but for anyone saying this has bass I'm struggling to hear where that bass is.

but the MSRP they're asking for all of the different JBL bluetooth speakers is absolutely ridiculous.so when they do go on sale at makes you feel like you're getting a deal but if you look at the price it's just too much. For God's sakes these don't even have illuminated buttons so you can't see in the dark!!! It doesn't even have a built-in EQ!!! and with the sad one year warranty is that manufacturers are allowed to put on us while the in Europe they're getting I think it's two or three year warranty on their electronic items we get one we get taken advantage of and we're paying top-dollar top price for these items and get a one year warranty it's garbage!!! US consumers have been getting taking advantage of for far too long. The one-year limited warranty on electronics needs to be minimum of two if we're going to be paying hundreds of dollars for items that fail within a few years

Got this for my husband for Christmas. We love it!!! Easily hooks up to your phone, sounds way better than my TV. (What we previously played Spotify on) It’s small so seems easy transport, holds a long charge. Happy with the purchase!

Yet for loud pleb music, especially at a distance, the speaker is still good and amazingly loud for its size, again as long as you don't listen to anyone who actually sings or plays real instruments. As noted, I have JBL reference speakers in my office, and can directly compare. I do not have the unrealistic expectation that a bluetooth speaker should sound anywhere near as good as properly positioned and aimed reference speakers on vibration stands, but having these allowed me to objectively quantify just how bad the mids or highs or whatever you call it on the Extreme 2 are. On certain songs the bass or low seems too intense and drowns out the mids and voices, and this effect does not vary linearly with volume

I like the sound of many of the UE products. I use the Wonderboom 2 often. It has a nice midrange sound, and it sounds really good in the midrange and treble area. I listen to good bit of jazz, classic rock

It’s a nice speaker by UE BUT not much difference in sound from the 2 it needs usb-c and better drivers to deliver better bass it’s a great design very durable it gets loud but room for improvement

This is my third bluetooth wireless speaker that I own. I started off by purchasing a Braven BRV-1 some five or so years back and than a Nyne Bass just 3 years ago. The JBL Xtreme 2 is most definitely a better sounding speaker than my two previous purchases. I think the aesthetics are quite pleasing as the shape is friendly

Other great things about this is that it charges super quick, the battery lasts a long time, and it’s super simple to pair to your phone. Overall, if you’re looking for a great quality Bluetooth speaker, you should definitely get this.

I would like to see a little rubber on the bottom for better grip.. Ok, now lets focus on the speaker
