I have 2 of the 110 partyboxes but can tell you right now.... 1 of the 110 partyboxes absolutely murders the boombox 2 for sound.... I have not heard the 310 and went with partybox 110 cuz in videos I watched the 110 vs 310 the 110 sounded brighter and cleaner and I listen to mostly rock from 50s 60s 70s but then throw in some rap from 80s 90s when I grew up.... but 1 of my brothers has the bb2 and he'd be first to tell ya it doesn't even compare..... way more everything on 110 bass mids highs and volume.... I did ask quite a few reviewers on YouTube the difference between 110 and 310 and they all said they sound similar but that the 310 is a whole nother beast.... I can say without a doubt in my mind after owning 1 110 and ordering a 2nd that the boombox 2 would maybe give ya 5 to 10 percent of what the 310 will do I'd say it does maybe 10 to 15 percent of what the 110 will do....... also I've owned a pot of bt speakers over last 3 yrs Harmon kardon onyx studio 4 then 6 aiwa exos 3 soundcore rave then soundcore motion plus and motion boom also owned jbl extreme 2 that I thought was garbage and said I'd never touch jbl again then owned 2 w king d9's loved em then their t9 absolutely fantastic and lastly 2 of their x10.... if I could have 1 boombox 2 or 2 of the x10 or 2 of their t9 I'd take either of those all day everyday over 1 bb2..... that bein said the 110 is on whole nother planet vs any a these and I've watched a ton of reviews and read a ton amd they all say the 310 is on another planet from 110 if you're gonna go small go with 2 of the w kings if ya wanna go big go with 110 if ya wanna go all fn out go with 310..... will also add when I heard the 110 in person for first time it blew me away .. totally changed how I look at jbl but will  stick by what I said about the extreme 2 it's garbage..... boombox 2 sounds decent amd is Def more portable but no way in hell I'd spend 100 more on the boombox 2 if I can grab a 110 and if I can spend another 50 and only want 1 speaker I'd Def go all out on 310

All the reviews I have seen pretty much shit on the boom box and say get the 310 pr you’re pretty much wasting your time. JBL Boombox 2 vs Partybox 310

  Now the one big disappointment I have with the Partybox 110.  The lower bass seems masked by the boosted mid/upper bass in (Bass Level 1). This results in the bass sounding boomy. It's very unfortunate since it's predecessor, the PartyBox 100 had better deep bass peak that wasn't boomy like this

 Very nice.  Connectivity- Bluetooth 5.1, multiple devices can be connected at the same time, and range is quite good. Very impressed  Portability - This is decently heavy, I'd say it's more transportable than portable at 23lbs

 The Tweeters are now angled as opposed to just one side/top. New analog knobs for changing the light show and play/pause have now been added, they also double as buttons. Very nice.  Connectivity- Bluetooth 5

 Not a big deal, I don't expect this to be audiophile sounding but just something to note.  All in all, this is a good speaker. But the 110 could've been even better and would've been easier to recommend, if not for the bass boost.  Everything else about the 110 is good, it is a better sounding speaker than the 100 except for this boosted mid/upper bass

A great Bluetooth speaker, with one unfortunate caveat.

 Where am I going to put it? I hope I don't lose the darn thing. They already have some space on the bottom for a pole mount -- making this just a bit bigger for power cable storage would have been ideal.  Sound Quality: 4 stars Music sounds great! It’s far overpriced for such a small speaker that lacks sound. You are paying for convenience for those who already have Sonos speakers throughout their home like me. I do enjoy taking it in and out of house and having my music all playing at once but the sound is weak.  So i can see the rom being popular with existing customers who are looking to expand their system with another room of music, such as a bathroom or kitchen, with the option to then take out into the garden or on holiday. I can also see people who are new to sonos opting for the rome as a good, portable speaker solution and also an affordable way to start off a sonos home setup. So, let's briefly cover the pros and cons then, so i think the main pro for the rom is the flexibility of both wi-fi and bluetooth control. Sonos Roam Lowdown: Everything You Need To Know In 5 Minutes

1.  You can set a volume limiter on the Roam, but it doesn't actually show what the volume setting is at.  When I increase volume on my mobile device, I don't know if that is just the bluetooth volume on my phone or of the Roam itself.
