 It was very kindly sent into me free of charge by the manufacturer for this review. No money's exchange hands. They haven't asked me to say anything in particular, nor do they want to pre-approve this video. I'm just going to share with you my experience of using this over the past few weeks

 I don't think you'll have any complaints at all with this headset. It's super portable, super comfortable. very reliable as well because it's a plug-in solution rather than wireless. This is the Jabra Evolve 2 30

 Uh, it feels a little bit tacky to me and it does pick up dust a little bit, but it's nice that this is a little bit textured and then on the underside, we've got some padding for the headband, same round on this side, and then this is the main ear cup. This is where all of the connections happen. So we've got the Usb cable connected to the right hand ear cup. We've got a little button here

 We've got the mute button for the microphone just on top here. and then we've got some play pause volume up and down buttons on this side here. the inner ear cut piece, which houses the 28 millimeter driver in here. This has got some movement on these axis, so it lends itself to being very, very comfortable

Jabra Evolve2 30 Review - The Work from Home Headset

@ not as comfortable as everyone says.  I don’t have a massive head, a large fitted cap.  I find the pressure is strong on my head/ears on hour long calls. 

How bad must the XM4 be for call quality.  My Jabra evolve2 85 I find is shit.  AirPod pros are 1000x better for calls, but my ears get sore after several hours.  Bought the Jabra evolve2 85

@ Compared to my Bose qc 35, ANC is not even close.  I knew it wasn’t going to be as good, but thought the sound quality for calls would be exponentially better.  It’s not.  ANC is not great

Finally got XM4 today.  I can say for music Evovle2 85 beats XM4 for me.  Clearer sound, balanced bass, and greater fidelity / volume.  I recommend it for music. But for conference calls, Jabra needs to fix the dumpster fire Jabra Direct software.

 I bought them specific for that because my Bose QC35 could only do 2 devices at a time and since I'm working from home I have 3 devices, 2 computers and 1 phone. This is now gone from their marketing material for obvious reasons:

This headset has worked flawlessly since I bought it, and I have had no issues with hearing on conference calls even with background noise when I'm working from home.  Couldn't be happier

This product I got for call center use, it works very well. Sounds great, very comfortable with no issues with the product directly other than USB-C plugin (but I knew that when I ordered it). The product is great but the only issue is the price, for the price there are other products that I feel are better built, these are pretty lightweight for comfort but you also have to be pretty careful with them too because of that.  I'll probably buy another brand next time just for more durable and more equal to the price

Oculus Rift S Review

 6/7/2019 - Oculus released a firmware update to enhance the missing low frequencies on the internal speakers. The sound has improved, but given the choice, I still prefer using my own headphones over either of the CV1’s or S’s built in audio. • The head strap is convenient to use and is quite comfortable. I loosen the tension, slide the headset over my glasses, pull the strap around the back of my head, and reset the tension so it fits nice snug

Visually, yes, the S is a nice step up from the CV1

 It does have a bit of weight to it, and it can get annoying by getting in the way when playing...I've personally alleviated this by velcro tying the cable to exit the back of the headset, which solved any issue of it getting in the way

  Controllers are excellent. They work great, are comfortable to use, and can take some abuse. I've had a couple of situations where I was playing Gorn or Echo VR and slammed one into a wall/desk trying to hit someone. They've received scuff marks but other than that work good as new, despite experiencing my wrath

Best headset for the money!

 Gotta turn on all your lights (not a major thing really). - The Rift S is far less comfortable than the Index. The back part of head strap rests on the exact most uncomfortable part of your head, and it always feels like it is going to come loose or fall off and you have to fidget with it a lot to get it in the right position. If it isn't angled perfectly the screen will be blurry

 - The controllers are slightly less comfortable since you have to always hold them (the Index knuckle controllers have a wrist strap so they stay in place when you release your grip). - You cannot play the Rift S in the dark, because it uses image recognition to track the headset. Gotta turn on all your lights (not a major thing really). - The Rift S is far less comfortable than the Index

 - The Rift S has a very noticeable FOV. I have adjusted to it now, but when I first transitioned to it from the Index, it felt like I was looking at the world through binoculars. Those few degrees make a lot of difference. It is not horrible on the Rift S, just not nearly as wide as the Index

I use it as backup to a Valve Index.

 Oculus software will let you know before they completely die on you. If you are an VR enthusiast or one of those game junkies (spending 24 hours in VRChat; for example). I would recommend doing rechargeable AA batteries then alkaline. To save you money
