62-39 was more accurate, it's lighter for some reason, the recoil is more proportional to the round, while the.223 runs a little hot out of the Ace, and more importantly, the 7.62-39 remains effective out of a shorter barrel while the.223 does not

NEW IWI Galil ACE Gen 2: What's Different?

 Now for myself, when judging a trigger on a gun like this, I just want it to be combat effective. I want to be able to shoot it quickly and accurately. I know where the wall is every time I'm pulling through and letting go. This is actually exactly what I would want and expect out of a gun like this and I really don't see the need to ever upgrade anything like that

 I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people comparing this to an AR pistol. And honestly, if I'm going with a really short barrel like this, if I'm working with like a seven and a half inch AR pistol like I've done reviews on in the past, or even if you get an 8.3 inch barrel, I think I might opt for something like this simply for the action, the reliability, the durability. When you get really short barrels on ARs, things tend to get a little bit over gassed and this thing is pretty gassy in itself

 It's got that HK slap All right guys, well in summary this thing is awesome I might actually say this has almost become one of my favorite 308 rifles to shoot The recoil impulse is unlike anything I've ever felt and this is my first time firing a roller delayed or roller lock Bolt setup, so I'm really excited to continue to try out this platform And honestly, I love the look of it and the feel of it with these iron sights So I think I'm just gonna forget the claw mount and continue to run it like this if I ever get a second PTR To the channel, I'll definitely compare and contrast and maybe at optics to do a really nice accuracy test now I am NOT an HK expert and I am just getting into this whole roller lock category of this type of rifle and what really Inspired me to look again and really look for this is I believe PTR came out with one of their HK MP5 clones in the 9 millimeter the K version the short version So I started seeing that pop up an Instagram and I started wanting to try that and then I found this at the shop And had to get it and I am so glad I did also I believe that magazines themselves are like dirt cheap and can be found everywhere. So I'm gonna stock up on some mags I'm gonna do an update video when I hit about 500 rounds But so far I've fired about three or four boxes of wolf steel cased ammo. No problem That's a box of this China sport ammo Which was cheap junk and then a box or two of the milsurp brass cased ammo I believe was a South African ammo and it just worked perfectly it threw the shells into the stratosphere There is no way this thing is gonna stovepipe. It was incredibly reliable
