IS THIS CABLE MACHINE REALLY WORTH IT??? (Inspire Cable Machine Review) Dope Gym Equipment

The Railtrainer’s MSRP is $400 for a single unit, but the owner was kind enough to share a coupon code (codeRed) with me that will take that down to $250. This makes it $500 for what is equivalent to a functional trainer on your rack; I find that to be an excellent value.

The biggest and most easily fixed weakness is that this is a new company. Several of the components reflected that; the included handles were pretty cheap and had a D-ring begin to separate under light use. I’m not sure if my handles were defective, but when I messaged the owner he immediately offered to send me a replacement pair, and stated that they would be changing their supplier. I had already purchased a nicer, more sturdy pair on amazon, so this didn’t really affect me, but I consider this issue a teething problem

 But they take up about as much space as a second power rack, and are usually more expensive than any other item in the gym. For reference, the cheapest quality Functional trainer is the Inspire FTX from Costco that costs around 1450 after tax.

 Basically, for the same model now i do want to say this. I was approached by someone at work a couple weeks back and they told me costco had this for twelve hundred dollars. I was a little disappointed because i paid almost eighteen hundred dollars for this thing. Uh before shooting this video, i went on costco

 I purchased it for a little under eighteen hundred dollars. It was the same price that they were selling it for at the local retailer uh, but the local retailer wanted two hundred dollars to ship it and they wanted free shipping. So i went with amazon for the free shipping all right guys. The difference between this one and the next model up that's almost twenty eight hundred dollars, so a thousand dollars difference uh what i was told at the local retailer that basically they're virtually the same thing from the ftx model to the ft-1 they're, virtually the same thing Except back here, your accessories have a spinning uh platform back here it has like dust guards on the outside

 Even if you have nothing in your gym, you don't have to go out and get the total gym in this, because one of these machines will complete your whole gym. If you're just looking to maintain a certain workout because, like i said okay here, here's a downfall, okay, it only goes to 150 pounds. So when you're doing something like a back workout, that's something that you know you could do more uh weight with like i do. The whole stack with a close grip pull down

 Time will tell if it lasts a long time and doesn't develop the squeaks and rattles that a lot of other home-grade exercise equipment tends to develop over time. So far it feels very solid though.

First impressions are excellent.  Feels very well made.

 Most people have a tough time doing a pull-up with their own body weight, but what you'll notice is as I'm standing on the weight, it's actually picking me up. So I can grab onto the handle now and it's going to help me do a pull-up. Now if I get a little stronger, I can take this same belt, put it across my shoulders. Now I have a weighted pull-up

 You can obviously move your bench up to get a bigger stretch, but there you go. I would suggest or I would recommend if you were looking to build a home gym, you don't have a lot of room, but you want to be able to do a lot. If you were to choose over the squat rack or a cross trainer, I would definitely go with this cross trainer, especially if you have tight space. You can do your bench presses if you have a bench

 I like the high-fucking weight on there. And this destroys my legs every single time. You can obviously move your bench up to get a bigger stretch, but there you go. I would suggest or I would recommend if you were looking to build a home gym, you don't have a lot of room, but you want to be able to do a lot
