 This newer design keeps the pockets securely closed with one zipper. It is the same high quality and security provided by Incase, but I feel that the new zipper front pocket is a bit restricting when it comes to storing items and accessories in them. It does not have the same freedom of expansion as the older design with the velcro flap. This sleeve is still sufficiently padded, but feels roomier and doesn't fit my MBP as snugly as the 13" sleeve fit my MB

 I can only imagine that it would be even roomier if you owned and carried the MBP with Retina Display in this sleeve. In that instance, I don't think carrying accesories/items would feel so restricting. Overall, still a very great and high quality product from Incase.

  Last, but not least, is my personal favorite/winner. The TOMANTEK sleeve has everything I wanted: light weight (it’s the lightest of the group), two zippers, nicely padded, not flimsy, and fits in my backpack – just barely. It has the most interesting outer texture and feel. It’s grippy, so it wouldn’t slide around on car seats as easily as the others and has this sort of firm/spongy feel to it
