 Basically, that should help the bike not bottom out too easily. So, if you got some big huck to flats planned or you wanna jump over some canyons,, this bike should be less likely to blow through that travel as quickly. The S-Works Frame actually has a different link that's carbon and saves around half a pound. Component Highlights of the S-Works build include Shimano's 12-speed XTR drivetrain, that's matched with a pair of Race Face carbon cranks

 Overall, it was my third fastest time. So, three out of four, it wasn't the fastest but, I'd put money on it, that if I had this bike on a dry day, against all the other bikes, that it would be the fastest. (upbeat music) - The Component spec on the S-Works Enduro was an absolute treat. With Special touches like the SWAT Box and SWAT Tool under the stem, it was kinda hard to go back to bikes without those features

 It's not just marketing speak when Specialized mentioned that it has that. They're telling the truth. (upbeat music) - It's probably gonna be a little too much bike for people of mellow terrain. It's definitely bigger than the old Enduro and, you know,, if your trails are flatter, this bike is not gonna be for you

 So, when it hits a bump, they want it to carry momentum. The Old bike,, the rear wheel tended to go forward pretty quickly. This One,, it does go forward, but, initially, it has a little bit more backwards path. Just allows it to kinda skip over and really suck up those bumps

Love my Ripmo AF for downhill but as a smaller guy with skinny legs I would like to go carbon and get back on a lighter bike with more travel. I am looking at the Evil Wreckoning but curious as to what you would suggest for around $6,000 give or take. Prefer to buy new. I think I want to stay 29" tires but open to 27.5". For travel I would like 170f/160r or 160f/160r. My primary focus is downhill(mostly bike park in summers) but I do miss having a lighter bike I don't mind pedaling on 15+ mile days and not a slug uphill for climbing. I ride all year long here on the front range in Colorado and love heading out to Moab for the good chunk. Currently my Ripmo AF sits at 39lbs for bike park. Usually around 36 for pedaling season but I am 5'9" 140lbs with a fused ankle and skinny lets due to a motorcycle 10 years ago left me with a limp and a lot of pain so exercising mass/power into my legs is near impossible. I have the endurance but the power just isn't there. I'm ready to upgrade to something lighter and all around better. What would be a logical upgrade for me from my current bike to my next bike and more importantly why? People suggest bikes but never give me a reason why to pick that one. Open to all suggestions, thanks!

<p>EDIT: Really not looking for suggestions on why I should keep my current bike or spend my money on lessons. I&#39;m not interested with justifying my reasoning with 20 different people. It&#39;s a simple question I am asking about what bikes you would suggest for my price and what I am looking for. If you don&#39;t have a suggestion on what bike to upgrade to, you&#39;re wasting both of our times. Every time I post this question I get very few actual bike suggestions vs having to justify why I don&#39;t want to upgrade my current bike and stick with it.</p>

$6,000 budget. Looking to upgrade from my Ripmo AF. Suggestions?

 That's just because it felt that bit more urgent through the turns and it didn't seem to hold it back when it was pointed fully downhill. The Enduro manages to deliver its 170 ml of travel super smoothly, and even when you do bottom it out, it's never harsh. You never feel like you're hanging up on anything and it doesn't ever feel like you're getting a whack through the frame when you do clout into something, even if you've gone offline and things are getting pretty wild. This gave me the confidence to just take some ludicrous lines that otherwise I might have shied away from

 [Music] Still uses the horse link design and in this case on the comp model, it uses a rock rock. Super Deluxe Select Rear Shop Specialize only off of the Enduro in carbon now that's a carbon front triangle and carbon rear triangle and on the S-works model, you also get carbon links to save a few hundred extra grams from what we've heard. all I'm going to do is swap to a really low profile saddle, which should hopefully remedy this after spending time in both the low and high settings. I Ended up riding the bike in the higher setting

 It might not have the flashiest spec out there, and if we're going to be really picky, okay, yeah, the NX Eagle is most drool-worthy of transmissions out there. It does the job and it does it okay. but it isn't the slickest or the smoothest, but still, as a package, this bike is incredible when pointed downhill, It does take a bit of work on flatter or mellower trails to keep it moving, but if you've got gravity on your side, the smooth suspension, an impressive geometry of the enduro is really hard to beat.  Now you can see that the shocks it's much lower into the frame along with the accompanying length, which means all your weights nice and load down by the bottom bracket. Specialized also have claimed to have increased the anti squat by 40 percent and made more of a rearward axle path. that's in order to help it carry more momentum and get hung up. less on square edge hits and things like that
