 Even after weeks of putting this HF through extreme conditions and after being dropped on hard surfaces, it still insulates and although it may be slightly dented, it's still keeping my water cold. It takes a lickin' while I keep on sippin'! Definitely recommend.

 It's lightweight and has a great seal. Since these have a gasket, you do not need to tighten it much at all. The only issues I've seen from others are from over tightening which will cause it to leak. I've never experienced this issue by just using common sense

 You have to weigh (ha) the pros and cons here. Yes, you could purchase a lighter, plastic water bottle, but it won’t keep your icy water icy. 

Before we talk about the effectiveness of the Hydro Flask at all things water bottle-ing, we want to point out that the bottle is available in 11 fun colorways at the time of this review. You can pick it up in such cheerful colors as Hibiscus (pink), Fog (a light purple-ish gray), and—the color we’ve been testing—Spearmint. Hydro Flask also offers more subdued colorways like Black, White, and Stone if neutrals are more of your thing. 

2 oz is nearly one pound. So it’s not exactly lightweight, which is why we don’t think it’s ideal for travel, especially one-bag travel. (32oz is also quite large, meaning it’ll take up a good amount of space in your pack.) But it’s not bad for this level of insulation

 The handle has a little bit of stretch to it—which is nice—and feels secure. It’s great for carrying the bottle or attaching it to your bag.

I love the Hydro Flask

I'm really disappointed in the lids they offer. I paid $40 for a 32 oz bottle and the lid leaked, which required me to order a replacement via warranty. I also ordered a flip top and straw lid from their website, which were both disappointing for different reasons. The flip top opening is too narrow to allow the volume of liquid flow I prefer and the straw lid allows the liquid to drop halfway down the straw between drinks, causing me to get a mouthful of air with every drink

 I have never had a water bottle like this so I don't know what I was expecting but it was my first impression. Works fine, seems well made, the plastic strap on the top doesn't seem flimsy at all so that's good. Feels like it's better made than the cheaper metal bottles you might find at Target or Wal-Mart (hence the price being almost twice as much). The "no-slip" coating on the outside may be a bit over-hyped

 When my hands are sweaty, muddy, or wet, I don't notice any increased grip-ability over any of the plastic water bottles I've used on the past, but it never slips out of my hands either. I use this when I play Ultimate Frisbee, keeps water cold for a several hours, I've never tested it for an entire hot day though. No leaks or other odd issues to speak of.  I'm not going to say that I'm madly in love with this product, but I know as a frequent Amazon shopper, we mostly make our buying decisions based on the number of 5-star reviews, so it gets 5 stars not because it is the most amazing and innovative water bottle ever, but because it works and I'd recommend it

 A bit pricey since you're paying for brand name, so unfortunately I won't be repurchasing. I'll be getting a takeya soon to replace my hydro (size is a bit too small for me), so I'll update this review to compare if I have the time.

 The minimalist design looks great.  I now own two of these after buying this one. I always spill water on myself from drinking too fast from the large opening because well.

 So I bought a skinnier one with a smaller mouth and that works great! I keep this one in my room and office to have a lot of ice cold water whenever I need it.  I didn't buy this water bottle with the intent of using less plastic bottles but since I bought this product, I haven't bought a plastic water bottle since. Seriously. Smooth design, great feel and doesn’t taste like metal! Keeps ice frozen longer than other bottles & works perfect but it seems close to the competitors who’s product can be cheaper than this brand. Nothing wrong with bottle but doesn’t seem like it really is worth $45+.

 If you're on a day hike and then like i said you know just screw the other lid right on top of that and okay, i'm gon na do my best to give all of my bottles that i review a score just to kind of keep the level Um playing field, and so here we go our nalgene wide mouth. Is it watertight? Yes, is it reusable yes and bpa free, which is an essential? Is it durable? Yes, is it reasonably priced? Yes, it was less than 20 bucks. Is it easy to clean the wide mouth? Certainly, is you can fit a bottle brush in that easily? You can put this in the dishwasher actually as well. I would recommend top rack only, of course, simply because of the plastic lid
