I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 I've been using soft water and I know distilled water would be better but that gets expensive. I also have to dust my house every 2 days.

Overall this unit is excellent at doing what it is meant to do, humidify. It's quiet and does a good job of adding humidity. There are a lot of nooks and crannies to clean around. The problem is all the WHITE DUST that it generates

  We have two Crane ultrasonic humidifiers in the kids rooms that though not perfect either, are much more reliable (have had one for 4 years and another for 2) and and half the price! I'm going to try and file a warranty claim with Honeywell now... I'm 1 week over a year after purchase, so am anticipating a futile attempt and obtaining a replacement

 Leaking terribly. There are a number of other design flaws with this unit, which I won't mention here, but I'm not happy for a $70 unit. This humidifier has a nice design but it looks like a mini trash can. It is a little too big. I will return mine, it is noisy. I try to use it at night but there is constant crackle, loud gulping and popping

This machine offers consumers a terrific value with a low MSRP and reasonably affordable annual costs. The tank is both easy to fill and easy to clean. The suggested cleaning protocols are involved but thorough, and thanks to the large access hole, it's not too difficult to scrub it out if mold does grow. With the ability to turn off the mode indicator light, this unit is ideal for sensitive sleepers. 
The user interface takes a minute to get used to. The three modes have corresponding colors that are seemingly random: blue is low, orange is medium, and purple is high. You can't fine-tune the humidity levels, but the three modes cover the basics. We couldn't recommend this model enough, unless you need a humidifier with a built-in humidistat and larger tank capacity.

 One thing is that you can track your humidity over time, with a week of history. It's kind of interesting to see that doing a ton of cooking (especially with gas) raised the humidity even a short distance to the bedroom. An additional app change is that they added "Smart Scenes". This functionality can work as a kind of workaround for the wide humidity range offered in "Auto" mode

 I appreciate the opening on the water tank, which does in fact let me fit my hand inside. However, there are fins of plastic on the inside that are hard to clean around. There's also a tube that runs down the inside of the tank with tight clearance between the tube and the side wall. I squeeze a sponge in between there and hope I get it good enough

 My unit consistently reads much higher than two other humidity sensors I have. For example right now it reads 65% when the other sensors report 50% and 51% (in two connected rooms). Sometimes it's closer to being only 10% off.  Second, the hysteresis (amount of overshoot/undershoot from your selected humidity) is +/- 3%

 There's also a tube that runs down the inside of the tank with tight clearance between the tube and the side wall. I squeeze a sponge in between there and hope I get it good enough. The outside of the tank has a piece towards the bottom that detaches, but it's also got a lot of small spaces that are harder to get to. The base isn't so bad to clean, although it's easy to splash water into the humidity sensor while you're at it

Bad sensor & limited auto controls

 Mild annoyance. Can be avoided by being mindful of it, which I suppose is a trait I lack in this particular case.  I bought these humidifiers on sale, and they have held up very well. I don't think I will purchase again in the future, though, as I'm sick of cleaning the dang things

 They run for about 16ish hours on high and can sufficiently humidify a large room.  It's important to remember that this unit doesn't have a filter, so it grows mold and gets slimy VERY quickly. I recommend rinsing out the reservoir AND the base once a day with hot water and clean with diluted bleach spray at least once a week. It comes with a handy brush to get into the little nooks

 Don't make the same mistake I did and neglect cleaning it regularly - you WILL get ill. Also don't let water sit in it when it's not in use.  Also worth noting - It doesn't leak but sometimes, depending on the air circulation in the room, some of the mist will float down onto the surface I have the humidifier sitting on. I keep the humidifier on a tray and lay the tray on a small towel to prevent my dresser from being damaged from moisture

  I bought these humidifiers on sale, and they have held up very well. I don't think I will purchase again in the future, though, as I'm sick of cleaning the dang things. They really do get slimy fast. So next time I'll opt for one that has a filter

2 years of use - not too bad

 I filled the water tank and placed it to work on the Low mist setting ONLY. The tank was empty after exactly 27 hours. Yes, it worked great, very quiet, and efficient for 27 nonstop hours! So, 40? Not in this world, no matter what you do to it. Of course, it will work even less on the Medium and the High settings, but I went with the Low only
