 The gk61 that i have liked compared to other 60 keyboards, is that they have the function key all the way to the right, underneath the shift and then moved over the control key, where typically, the layout is going to be control all the way to the right And what that does for you on the amp pro 2 to use the arrow keys a little bit different? You just tap: either control uh, this menu button function or shift, and you tap it and it actuates the arrow key. But the problem with that is what happens if you need to hold the arrow key, but uniquely on the gk61, since having the function keys over here, you have your arrow keys, mapped right here as a secondary function, and you can very easily hold the arrow keys, Which eliminates the use for like the magic caps lock and all that stuff and having the wasd as your arrow keys, which is nice. But this implementation, i think, is a lot nicer and a bit more natural to people that are used to using tenkeyless, keyboards or full size or whatever, like i said in the beginning of the video, this keyboard is optical as well as hot swaps. You can try different gadoran optical switches in the sockets here

 Ppt keycaps and the price should stay the same if they can do that. Keep the price the same, keep the same low cost to entry on the optical hot, swap usb type-c small form factor gaming keyboard. I mean dang, you guys are killing it like. This is a really good deal for the price

 I didn't do anything to the clicks keyboard. This white one. All i did was spray lube, the gatorade silver optical switches and then the black one. Here i spray lubed, the gatorade yellow optical switches, modded the stabilizers as well, re-lubing them and band-aid modding them, and also added case foam in the bottom to eliminate a lot of the resonance in the case to make it sound a lot better and make the bottom Out more solid, why did i do all this? Well because we're going to talk about that, so the gk61 as a whole stock? It'S not a bad keyboard for the price, it's very hard to beat actually, and it gives you an incredible value like being able to get an optical keyboard for well under a hundred dollars is a really big deal like that is excellent, and it's not just optical Either it's optical, it's hot, swap, you can swap out and try different optical switches, even though i do think one of them is kind of the definitive switch, but with it being able to be optical

GK61 Review! Is It REALLY as GOOD as everyone says? (HK Gaming/Epomaker/Matrix Clix)

 The key presses go down into the case, and so you have no ting or Noah. You know kind of bell ring sound in there the metal plate underneath it of the keys right there very, very durable. As you can see, the bigger Keys use the anigh smocks, which stabilizers not just a metal bar, so whatever a key press, you you're using right there. It feels very stable and bounced across the board

 I don't know that's kind of where. Maybe you get dust or pet hair in there. You know it seems like what, if it just blocks off that sensor, I don't know, that's my only fault of it right there or if we get stuck in between the key right there. So maybe this kind of board - Hey, maybe just clean it a little bit more

 There is one piece you have your rubber feet right on the bottom: four rubber feet: no feet pop bounce, that's kind of a bummer, if you, if you tend to using it that way, it doesn't have that. GK61 60% Gaming Keyboard Review

 Changing this to a light blue fixed the issue as the red LED was no longer being used, but just know that when switching keycaps it might be in your best interest to turn backlighting off altogether. YMMV from keeping the lights turned on.  The software to control the lighting, functions, and macros is awful. It's counter-intuitive and doesn't exactly have a user guide to go along with it

 This keyboard definitely meets that need, while being aesthetically stylish and feeling very responsive.  The board its self is a nice 61-key compact keyboard. This means no F1-F12 keys, no arrow keys, no Home/Insert/Delete/Print Screen keys, and no ten key. The footprint it leaves on your desk is as small as it possibly can be without sacrificing basic needs in a keyboard and it's very pleasing because of it

 The download page is entirely in Chinese except for the version number, and while the software its self runs in English, it might as well not because you'll have no clue what half of it is talking about. A 3 minute YouTube video made by someone not affiliated with the company helped me a little, then the rest was figured out with about an hour of tinkering. Once I had it set the way I wanted for the function keys and backlighting, I uninstalled the software. Not because I didn't trust it, but because I doubt I'll ever use it again unless I absolutely have to

Good Feel, Great Switches, Mediocre RGB, Terrible Software, but overall WAY TOO LOUD!

 The skates are thicker than the Mira and have a smoother glide. The overall build quality feels great, no creaking or flexing or anything funky like that. The weight comes in at 59g with no holes in the side which is pretty impressive for a mouse this size. The main clicks are 20m omron and feel great, there is a tiny amount of post travel but nothing that I would ever notice while gaming or normal use as you have to press down rather hard and hold to actually notice it

I don't give mice a #/10 rating for at least two weeks to really get a feel for the mouse and let any issues present themselves but I have to say I'm very impressed with HK's new release and this mouse will most likely be a top contender for claw grips as it's almost identical to the Zowie S2 except with HUGE improvements over it.

First impression: This is HK Gaming's new Naos-M model and right off the bat you can feel some definite improvements over their Mira model. The stock cord feels great, comparable to some of the best stock cords I've ever tried and doesn't really need to be replaced. The skates are thicker than the Mira and have a smoother glide. Great keyboard, Software is an absolute joke/disaster

 When I found this keyboard, I was surprised that it was this cheap for a 60% with Gateron switches.  Upon receiving the keyboard, I immediately tried to customize the lighting on the keyboard, and just like how the reviews I watched on YouTube said - the keyboard's software wasn't good. I couldn't put custom hex codes, even though there were places in the software to do so. In the end, I stuck with just a plain white backlight

It's cool how you can swap switches and key caps but I'd spend a little more money and get a quality keyboard over a cheap keyboard that has a lot of gimmicks. Alright value but you get what you pay for

 It is slightly heavier now, which is what I want, in order to achieve a more thocky sound. The additional weight comes from the car sound dampening foam.  If you’re on the fence about grabbing a 60% keyboard for cheap and want to mod it, this is a good move for beginners not wanting to break the bank.

 I am coming from Corsair K95 with Cherry MX speed switches and these Gaterons feel a bit nicer for typing.  The mods I incorporated includes: Car sound dampening foam (dynamat), PE foam between PCB and casing, PE foam between plate and PCB, HOLEE mod, and G205 G0 lubed switches. All of this combined, equates to a superb typing experience. The space bar is smooth and thocky

New to keyboards. Picked up a DROP CTRL yesterday and am loving it, and im wondering if lubing the switches themselves will make a huge difference. They are already quite smooth (especially compared to my 3 year old razer greens) and ive already lubed and band aid modded the stabilizers. 

  
TL;DR will lubing my halo clears make a noticeable difference to the average joe?

So far I've found the Swiss Developer Keyboard by Andrew Magerman, which is kind of what I'm looking for, but has the command key in a weird place. I know that key remapping is a thing, but I would kind of like to buy a "ready to use" kb as my first mechanical one :)

I just received my purple zealios v2 in the mail.

I currently have a Drop ALT which requires me to clip the switches. Later this year, I'll be receiving my first custom keeb which has a PCB which is compatible with the 2 zeal prongs.

Does clipping them now so i can use them until i get my new board affect the quality? Will using the clipped switches once i get my new KB affect quality? Should I wait?

I have a Logitech g810 keyboard and for some time now letters get printed twice although I don't tap twice or tap long enough for it to interpret it as keeping it pressed.  (hope the sentence makes sense)

Also when playing Valorant and I try to defuse or plant the spike, I press "4" normal and it starts to plant/defuse 2-3 times in very quick succession until I press the key really hard, so the action goes through. I even got yelled at because this happened several times in the same match and my teammates thought, I'm doing that on purpose lol. But at this point I'm annoyed by the problem.

The keyboard is now nearly 3 years old. Does anyone know that problem and can point me in a direction? I bought it on sale for 40€ so I can't complain, if it is now broken, but I'm not that keen on spending hundred bucks for something new.

Hello! I have a few more enthusiast grade questions as I am looking to buy a higher quality keyboard and peripherals.

I was looking at the Ducky One 2 RGB TKL and was wondering how much of a pain the macros are? As well as any general opinions on overall build quality and feel of it. I only found a handful of reviews for this one rather than it's 60% counterpart. Really like the look of it but am hesitant as it'll take awhile to arrive and the cost. I know ducky is a quality brand just not sure if this one was considered a top pick for the price range.

Second question is how do Cherry MX Red Silents feel in comparison to normal reds? I've seen mixed reviews saying it feels squishy by comparison and some saying it feels the same. I'll be living with a roommate and eventually my gf in the coming years. Mainly wondering if they are silent enough to be worth the switch while being close to the Cherry Red feel I already love.

Last question, where is the best place to buy a quality premade usb-c to a coil cable like I've seen throughout this sub? The process seems tedious and I messed up more than enough gamecube controllers paracording and modding to know I'd rather just buy a premium one. Looking for advice on a mechanical keyboard. This will be my first mechanical keyboard. After some research I think these are the features I'd like.



	MUST have features:

	-90% (compact with numpad) -- MUST have

	-Cherry MX Brown Switches -- MUST have

	NOT NEEDED, but preferred features:

	-Macro Keys

	-Media Controls

	-Plug/Unplug wire for power

	-Built in USB hub

	-Built in Audio Jack



Just to note I like the features of this "Poseidon Z Forged" keyboard, but the reviews scare me (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WB9N1OA/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_POXdFbF17540H). But it has almost all my listed features. Though through all my research I never saw thiis brand mentioned, so that worries me as well.

Open to any suggestions or advice, thank you.

There's a drop going on that has supposedly the same PBT keycaps as the Drop CTRL and the Drop ALT, found [here](https://drop.com/buy/drop-skylight-series-keycap-set#imagecarousel).

Are these keycaps going to be good quality? Is there anybody who owns a CTRL or an ALT that can comment on the keycaps?

The Drop keycaps look like exactly the kind of keycaps I want to replace the bad ABS keycaps that my keyboard came with, but I'm hoping to not waste $50 :)
