If you're on a budget but want better picture quality than the TCL 85S455, the Hisense 85U7H is the best lower mid-range TV we've tested that's available in an 80-85-inch size. It's a great TV, with good picture quality and a wide selection of additional features. It's good for watching sports in a bright room thanks to its high peak brightness and good reflection handling, so it can easily overcome glare. It has worse processing capabilities and a slower panel than the Sony X90K, but as far as picture quality is concerned, they perform very similarly.

It has some great gaming features, including HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on two of its HDMI inputs for 4k @ 120Hz gaming, and it supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology to reduce tearing.  Turning on the TV is quick as well, taking around 1-2 seconds to turn on. I never personally used Google TV before, but it is a great additional feature to have. Along with Google TV, it also has built in Chromecast, and allows me to display my laptop screen wirelessly, a huge plus!!! Using the TV for a couple of weeks so far, the display exceeded my expectations. The colors are vibrant and having a 55' screen in my bedroom has been a game changer

 The remote is excellent. The remote is quick to respond and easy to use, backlit so it can be seen in the dark (HUGE plus!) includes a button for voice control, and works without direct line-of-sight. This is a big deal to us for our bedroom TV, and TV marketing never seems to mention the remote. I have returned TVs because they had a terrible remote

 The Google TV interface is amazing, curating all our services on the home screen in a cohesive non-annoying way. I really like the ability to have profiles on the TV itself for the kids as well, with only the apps we've added for them.  I haven't noticed any issues with the image. It's clear, clean - meets and exceeds all our needs and expectations

Excellent TV for the Price

 But with funds tightening down these days I decided to save myself a grand and go with this TV. I’ve heard a lot of good feedback from TV enthusiasts on this particular model and I can confirm it’s pretty fantastic. Right out of the box the colors pop, GUI is zippy, and it’s just an attractive looking TV. I’m not a pixel peeper, but I rewatched all my favorite marvel movies for the first time in 4K and this TV delivered

This TV is unbelievable for the price

 120Hz native refresh rate gets me more kills during my COD gaming and provides crisp, vivid picture for the family movie show time.  If you are on the verge of decision for purchasing this TV, it is definitely a go-ahead from me!  100% recommended.
