If you're on a budget, then the Hisense 50U6H is the best 50-inch TV you can get at a low cost. It's surprisingly well-equipped for a budget TV and vastly outperforms most TVs in its price range. Its VA panel helps produce a high contrast ratio with good black uniformity, and it has a good local dimming feature, so dark scenes look great with very little blooming around bright highlights. Although it doesn't get as bright in HDR as the Sony X90J, which you have to expect for a budget-friendly TV, it still displays a wide range of colors, and HDR content looks good.

It's a good choice if you want to enhance your setup with a soundbar, as it supports eARC passthrough. If you're looking for something on a budget, then the Hisense 55U6H is a great choice. It's a lower-end version of the Hisense U8H, so you lose out on a few features, mainly for gaming, but if you aren't a gamer, it doesn't make much of a difference. It also offers great value compared to similarly-priced and more expensive options, as it's very good for a variety of uses. It has a high native contrast ratio, and while its local dimming isn't as good as the U8H, it's still decent, and the picture quality in dark scenes is good.

Even if you want to use it in a well-lit room, it gets bright enough to fight glare, and the reflection handling is good. Despite being a low-cost TV, it displays a wide range of colors in HDR and has fantastic out-of-the-box accuracy, so you won't have to get it calibrated for the best image possible. Lastly, it doesn't have any issues upscaling lower-resolution content, which is good if you watch cable TV or DVDs.

If you want something cheaper than the Hisense U7H and don't care as much about gaming features, check out the Hisense U6H instead. Its out-of-the-box accuracy is fantastic, so you don't have to get it calibrated if you don't want to, and it displays a wide range of colors in HDR. Speaking of which, it's very good for HDR thanks to its high contrast ratio and decent local dimming, and while its HDR peak brightness is just okay, some highlights stand out.

Its good reflection handling and good peak brightness are ideal if you want to use it in a room with a few lights around, but it has a narrow viewing angle that makes the image look washed out from the sides. Like the TCL 5 Series/S546 2021 QLED, the U6H also comes with a user-friendly Google TV interface, but if you don't like that interface, the Hisense U6GR is a similar TV that uses Roku instead, so you can get the model with the platform you prefer.

That's where things were most impressive So we get new sets that we generally have a series of like five videos that will watch Sort of get a sense of how the TV could perform things that test contrast ratio things that test blooming Colors black levels how the black and colors kind of merge together and this did a really nice job With all of those again I'm coming from someone who's been looking at these really high-end sets that we've reviewed recently and this did really well I think the best example is actually in this video here where the greens popped So beautifully and the black on the background you saw a separation now, maybe it was my brain But to me that looked black. No, I know that it's not but if you're just sitting back watching something It's a really good set. So now because this is LED You will see the picture fade a bit as your viewing angle goes more to the side So if you get like the bad spot on the couch I'm basically every TV does that except OLED so probably nothing new here But at least bear it in mind if you look at the TV straight on though or a little bit off We're gonna get a really good You can see a big difference in the brightness on the set between SDR and HDR content So you play like anything HDR push the brightness of 600 nits Which is plenty for bright really even rooms with like direct sunlight coming in Overall, I was really impressed with the picture quality that the set was able to produce especially for its price and speaking of price Talk about this in the intro

 It's the Hisense U6H quantum ULED 4k TV It's a mouthful But it's trying to prove that you don't need to spend just all the money to get an incredible TV set and Hisense is actually so Confident they're willing to put their money where their mouth is and kind of pay you to buy one of their TVs But I'll get there All right, so maybe you've heard of Hisense maybe not they've been in the TV game for a while Like I mentioned they traditionally sort of put out TVs that are more on the budgetary side And as the years have gone on their tech has continued to improve all while keeping for those lower prices Especially compared to the competition. So this guy the U6H continues that story You're getting a lot of the features you see in higher-end TVs in a more affordable package So you're getting things like quantum dot layer 4k upscaling Dedicated game modes HDR Dolby vision full array local dimming smart assistant I'm not sure I've seen this one before on a TV that can remember a built-in web browser All in a package at least in 65 inch variants that I have behind me for under 700 bucks Obviously pricing with TVs is like all over the board and changes seemingly daily Right holiday time probably see these things for even cheaper.  So the u6h is basically the same TV as the u6g But the u6h has a few more features that are actually pretty cool Now additionally, there is a u6hf and just a u6h the u6hf has the fire stick OS built in where this the u6h uses Google TV as the operating system the smart TV part of it But everything about the u6hf and the u6h are exactly the same. Just the operating system is different now Let's get to the review. I know firstly the one that you're gonna see in this video is the u6hf 50 inch but let's go over the sizes. So first you have 50 inch 55 inch 65 inch and then 75 inch now for some reason the fire version of this the u6hf Is only available in the 50 inch as of right now and the rest of those the 55 the 65 and the 75 are all Google TV

Hisense U6H 4K ULED TV | What You Should KNOW!

 I sent a message through the promotion webpage four days ago, which promises to respond within 2 business days. It seems doubtful at this point that they will ever honor the promotion even though my claim was approved. If they ever do, I will update this review. But as of right now it looks bleak

 I can also select RGB color format, which then allows for full dynamic range, but only if I change the refresh rate to 30Hz. So in summary, if you want the TV to run at it's native 60Hz, you are limited to Chroma 4.2.0 with 8-Bit color and limited dynamic range

 This will be the second time I have had to call, and it takes a long time to get through the automated phone response system. My advice - if you purchased a Hisense TV from Amazon under this so-called promotion, you have 30 days to return it to Amazon. After that, you are stuck with dealing with Hisense. Therefore, if you think you are not happy with the purchase, you should return it to Amazon within the 30 day return period and thereby avoid having to deal with Hisense

 The Hussins U6H is the first TV I am tackling in the range. This TV is the so called entry level in the ULED lineup, but that doesn't mean it doesn't pack some fantastic features. In fact the Hussins U6H is one of the best low cost displays I've ever tested. For under 20k range you're getting a bright and vivid 4K panel with Dolby Vision support, gaming features such as VRR and ALLLM and an all around decent TV with local dimming and more

 Lastly, let's talk about the panel and speakers. The panel packs some decent uniformity. Great hair showed a clean display meaning your image quality will be great. The colour space is also decent with almost 80% readings
