I love the style of this jacket but the fit is off. While the sleeves are great and the cut is very flattering, the waist is so large that even though it's snug in the chest, the waist was baggy and the snow skirt was several inches from touching my waist. Wouldn't have kept any snow out at all.

I ordered this jacket and a few from other manufacturers and ended up going with a much more expensive Descente for my ski jacket. Despite that, I could not bring myself to return this jacket to amazon: It wears excellently, it hangs well, it just fis so very well, it's fun it put on. It's stupid comfortable. I haven't been braving the elements with it yet but obviously as it's Helly Professional it's going to be breathable, warm, and windproof

I love the slim fabric used on the arm holes so that my gloves aren’t sticking way out of my coat while skiing. The food is big enough to fit over a ski helmet but also detachable which I love. The shiny oil slick detailing on the zippers And the tiny speckling at the rib cage gives just a little contrast to the all black jacket so it’s not too plain. Perfect with a heavy base layer underneath for warmth

I am impressed with the insulation while remaining lightweight I was in between ordering large and xl and am glad I chose xl for my 6'1, 185lbs, standard-proportioned son. The arms may be a fraction of an inch long but the jacket length is cut at waist. I think a large could be too short.

Warm and great insulation. The number of pockets are perfect. It has all the features I'm looking for in a ski jacket - lots of pockets, removable hood, powder skirt, fleece lined zipper by the face. I wish it was a little longer, but I have a long torso so that's not unusual for me
