I ordered this jacket and a few from other manufacturers and ended up going with a much more expensive Descente for my ski jacket. Despite that, I could not bring myself to return this jacket to amazon: It wears excellently, it hangs well, it just fis so very well, it's fun it put on. It's stupid comfortable. I am impressed with the insulation while remaining lightweight I was in between ordering large and xl and am glad I chose xl for my 6'1, 185lbs, standard-proportioned son. The arms may be a fraction of an inch long but the jacket length is cut at waist. I think a large could be too short.
