 So thanks for watching. I'll include some shooting footage in here. Yeah, like I said, I've owned a few of these things. I seem to own them and then not own them for long because I always go back to bolt actions

 In my opinion ACR, in Canada at least because we can't carry ARs in the field, but an ACR or an SL8 is the best most accurate semi-auto rifle you'll have period. I'll show you I did a little shooting video of this where I shot a few rounds with it. I had just had an AR scope on this thing and I was shooting 100 yards in some wind so my groupings were about you know 1.5 M away, 1 M away with the wind, it was quite windy that day but I mean hey that's not too too bad

 Curiously enough the rail on this thing is actually the same plastic or glass fiber reinforced plastic. I've never had any issues with zero drifts with these rifles, I've had many of them, they've all shot incredibly well. HK SL8 Review

 Hit. Alright guys, so that's 7 hits out of 15 rounds which I would say is a pretty great result. Good probability of 47% which is quite a bit better than the 25% the APC 223 managed. Recall that that rifle was pushing a 69 grain Sierra Matchking that was subsonic at that range so this rifle had two advantages over the APC of course which is the fact that it's more accurate right out of the gate and it's pushing a more efficient bullet that 73 grain ELDM over the 69 grain Sierra Matchking which does manage to sustain supersonic flight out to this distance

 On the subject of weight, H&K claims 8.6 pounds with that heavy 19 and 3 quarter inch barrel. You're looking at 10.7 pounds with a Hera Arms kit upgraded with a PRS, or 14

 This particular PRS stock came off the DMR version of the Bushmaster ACR. It swapped straight across and really looks like it was made for it. The Hera Arms kit brings this rifles ergonomics closer to its G36 lineage and provides the adjustability and modularity you'd expect from a precision rifle, particularly when upgraded with the PRS. In this configuration the SL8 has a length of pull of 14 ¾ to 16 inches and you can fit the AR pattern grip of your choosing

 They start to get kind of large And they end up poking the ground the 20 if you can see there on the video You've got about an inch of clearance give or take as you shoulder it starts to come up, but something to consider with this one I've got 10 rounds of some steel case And we just want to make sure that it runs the steel case stuff as well, too before we get into the accuracy testing so here we go 10 rounds cheapy steel All right Hmm looks like strike, but no fire there and get rid of that turd. Let's see if she goes on number two Nope Yeah, deeper indention so Can't fault the gun for it could uh, definitely be the uh, could definitely be the ammunition there Um, but just wanted to uh, just wanted to try it with the steel ammo

 We do appreciate it and let's get into it Alright guys, so first things first as always first magazine to check function I've got some PPU. This is some M80 surplus. I think it's a hundred and forty five grain 147 grain It's an oddball number So we're gonna load that first mag up We're going to make sure she functions 20 rounds YouTube friendly magazine. Here we go All right, and All right, so that one Still breaking in did not lock back if you can see there, so that's a little bit weird But outside of that ran good

 Of course you get your pick top and bottom Would have been nice to see the backup irons from the x95 included. That's not a huge difference That's not a huge deal to most people but it is a nice backup feature to have All in all ran pretty decently recoil for being a 308 in a compact package very manageable Only thing I ran into was a few failures to uh to lock the bolt open on the last one I think I had four total there. Um, and then some of the light primer strikes with uh with the steel ammunition that could be the ammunition could also need a cleaning lube as always we run these straight out of the box um, but a little bit concerning there um all in all before I would fully fully trust it I would definitely want to put some more rounds through it um, but fun little package uh in a nice caliber um may do some follow-up testing on this with a can on the end of it Um, but I I did enjoy shooting it so non-reciprocating charging handle the fact that I will correct myself from my tabletop video uh this actually will convert to left-hand ejection uh with no additional parts needed there's actually a selector inside essentially you flip it over You uh move your port covers around and you're good to boogie there um that part is very nice Um, all in all not a bad little rifle um if you uh if you enjoy bullpups and you enjoy 308 this one's definitely not a bad one to pick up guys as always I do appreciate your time watching this Stay safe, train hard.
