The mixer motor is horribly underpowered for mixing the things you should be able to mix with this unit. I used it once to make bread but then when I used it to make mashed potatoes, as it says in the manual, the motor started smoking and it quit. Save your money and buy a Kitchen Aide. You'll be very disappointed in this mixer

no problems with this mag, however, in Nov I ordered womens day and publisher got it all messed up  It will now be delivered in April 5 months after I ordered.  Discount mags did give a courtesy refund of $2.00 because of the mix up.  This is the first time I have had a problem with ordering magazines from this company

This mixer works great! I love the variability of the settings; makes it perfect for whatever you are working on. However, it is very, very noisy. As for durability, I haven't had this long enough to comment. The noise is the only reason I rate it as 'good' instead of 'excellent'

Not Very Quiet!

It is a very heavy duty mixer.  And, it is very heavy!  My wrists could not handle the power and weight.  .  Even on the lowest speed it ran way too fast to control the unit and bowl
