Hamilton Beach 46320 vs Keurig K-Elite Single Serve

Because this Hamilton Beach coffee maker does not brew like the OXO did. The coffee is bland; I have to put it on "Bold" setting just to get some taste into the brew. On the plus side, the Hamilton Beach is easy to program and easy to fill both the reservoir and the basket. And even though the carafe is glass, the coffee is kept hot for a long time

I prefer "Dunkin" - in the original blend and it's tasty in the Keurig although slightly different in texture/tannin sensation. The donut store blends I found at my local Albertson's (Keurig and others) weren't up to snuff in the Keurig. I'll come back and update after I've used this unit for a few months. These initial reviews are useless except for the setup scenario and initial experience

Some may not like that look though, that's why mentioning it. The front controls are ok, kind of lacking though. The display seems nice now, though other brands have used displays like this and they fade on brightness over time.

This one just seems nicer and also worth mentioning. The K Mini Plus makes a weird noise. sometimes. I'll add a clip here if I can get one

Now to the brewing process. It’s a little slow for a full pot to brew up (13-15min) , however that’s minor to how HOT the coffee temp is after it’s brewed and tastes great! Looking forward to having an alert mode for cleaning as a reminder after 60 pots made. Four stars for now to see how long this coffee machine will last! Hopefully years?!?!?!

I can’t speak to the ice coffee feature yet because I haven’t used it. It seems to brew faster than my previous keurig and it seems more sturdy and more well put together than previous ones that I’ve owned.
