Good but not perfect

 Well, concerning as far as poor waffles can concern a man. It'd be like having a cast-iron pan that decided to go cold in the middle of cooking before heating up again. That simply wouldn't do.

 And, so far, the waffles have been okay. We went through a dozen batches, and while we haven't nailed it down exactly, we think we're getting closer. We think.

.  One thing we noticed (and which might explain the less-than-mindblowing waffles so far) is the green "ready" light turning off in the middle of cooking, and then turning back on a bit later. To my understanding, this light goes on once a threshold temperature is met, and stays off otherwise. That would mean that, in the middle of our waffles cooking, this device is losing some heat, and then struggling to get back up to "proper" temperature

Alright as waffle iron, removable irons are Niice

 I used Pam spray prior to cooking and had no sticking issues.  The removable grates are interchangeable, so no worries about which goes where. Cleaning them requires popping them out and putting them in the dishwasher, or clean by hand if you prefer.  All in all I recommend this with no reservation

  Setup is easy. Follow the directions for "seasoning" the removable waffle grates and you'll be good to go. I used Pam spray prior to cooking and had no sticking issues.  The removable grates are interchangeable, so no worries about which goes where

 It took about four minutes for that to go on on setting two. I'm going to go ahead and flip over our waffle machine and you can see all the steam coming out of it. And I want to note that just a little bit of batter came out, but none really drip down onto our drip tray. So about a half a cup of batter seemed to be good

 Okay, so I have unpacked and plugged in the Hamilton Beach Flip Style Waffle Maker.

 And as you can see, it has a handle for rotating, which is easy to grab and flips the waffle

 And if you like them a little bit soft and not as brown, you can keep the temperature

 So I'm going to go ahead and turn it up to two for us.
