 Let's focus for a moment on Halo Reach since it's the most recent addition to MCC and the first to launch on PC as part of a piece by piece roll out. In short, for a 9 year old game, it still looks quite good after its 4k cleanup and it controls beautifully. It feels a lot more natural on mouse and keyboard than when Gearbox brought Halo 1 to PC back in 2003 and offers PC centric customization options like Fov adjustments. If the rest of the PC versions stack up to this, that's great news

 Firefight is here too, and it's still a blast. It's no wonder it helps set off a wave of cooperative PvE multiplayer modes that's still going strong in games today. When the rounds got started, they were buttery smooth every single time. That's even true in Halo 1, which was never originally designed for online play

 Plasma shots and energy swords, for example, would update at 30fps, despite the game running at 60fps or greater. This resulted in jittery, distracting visual effects. This isn't the case in Halo 3, so all effects animate at 60fps or better. Explosions look fantastic, particles are wonderfully detailed, and animations are great across the board

 You can relive the original game's multiplayer madness once again, though you'll need to grind for your cosmetics again. Halo 3's multiplayer is much more lively than the past few releases, but it comes with a few downsides. AFK players grinding for XP are all too common, as are quitters who drop matches for whatever reason and handicap their team. These aren't the game's fault, though it would be nice if developer 343 Interactive patched in a way to join in-progress matches

 Halo 3's greatest multiplayer flaw is its wonky hit detection. Sometimes shots seem to connect, yet do not properly register. It doesn&rsquo;t always happen, but 343 is aware of the matter and working on a fix.

 The only real improvement is an increase in draw distance, which lets your PC render effects and details from farther away than normal. It is most noticeable with grass and dead bodies, but is not significant enough of a visual boon to keep on if your PC doesn't have the horsepower to smoothly run it.&nbsp;

Halo 3 (for PC) Review

  Ultimately, I spent $5 more for the game than I should have, and although I can "resell" the game, ultimately I just inherited the liability of having to keep track of an extra disk as well as the added hastle of removing and inserting them constantly.  Save your money, and just buy the digital copy from XBox.

 However, Halos memorable multiplayer modes are undermined by unacceptably unreliable and bug-ridden performance in the days after launch, to the point where I can't recommend that you buy Master Chief collection right now for that functionality. That's heartbreaking. But on the bright side, there's still more than enough single-player and co-op content here to strongly recommend it for those alone. The fan service begins right at the main menu

 The resolution and framerate boosts do give it a nice clean look at least, and with the exception of that exacerbating Cortana mission, it remains arguably the series finest start to finish campaign, complete with an ending that retains all of its emotional punch. As for Halo 4, its stunning visuals. Our Master Chief Collections most pleasant surprise. What was already a high point for graphics on Xbox 360 legitimately looks like it was made for Xbox one when running at 1080p and 60 frames per second

 Halo 2 Anniversary White, 2011's Halo 1 Anniversary. It's actually running two graphics engines at the same time, allowing you to instantly switch from 2004 graphics to 2014's Xbox one coat of paint at the touch of a button. Admittedly, the new facade is a bit rough around the edges I Saw occasional frozen enemies, some framerate dips, and a few loading screens that jarring Lee interrupts the pace is the impressive new cutscenes. queue up and while the graphics are up to modern standards in many ways, they're hardly jaw-dropping

 It saddens me that because of its early online multiplayer problems, what should have been a celebration of the return of Halos old-school multiplayer greatness is currently an exercise in frustration. Right now, we can only sit back and wait for Microsoft to fix its servers and party problems. And until then, the greatness of revived and enhanced Halo 2 multiplayer is still an unfulfilled promise. Halo: The Master Chief Collection Review

 Really well done  Halo 4: From what I gathered Halo 4's story links to Halo 5 and we are introduced to a new enemy. The gameplay is not too dissimilar that the original 3 but it's a little more difficult. After playing the first three Halos I found the difficulty much harder so my skills were put to the test. The story was really entertaining from the start and I really enjoyed playing this  Overall: From someone who has never played Halo before I really enjoyed the stories of the original collection, it didn't answer all my questions before playing Halo 5 but I learnt a lot

 The story gave me a good base to start on and to understand what the games were all about  Halo 2: The story for this was much better, The Halo 2 game was remastered for this collection and the cut scenes are brilliantly worked. You can see what they looked like on the original Halo 2 by pressing the back button. The remastered version is a big step on. The gameplay was much more engaging as well

 I had a go at the multiplayer and this was really fun. The different maps and modes for online makes this really refreshing and challenging everytime I play

 This includes every single multiplayer for all of the uh, aforementioned games. Let's Halo 1, Halo 2. They did a remastered multiplayer mode known as Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer, Halo 3, Halo 4 in Halo Reach, and again. all extra maps and dlc are included

 250. 500. Finally, I told myself if I could play 1,000 hours of Sea of Thieves by my anniversary in the game (Nov 25th, 2020), I would write the review. Here I am delivering that promise early

I thought it important to describe what Hour 1,000 Day on the Sea of Thieves brought me. My crew mate and I sank, and got sunk. We encountered toxic players, and angels. We tried to lure out some spice by doing a Fort of Fortune

 The next day you could be running Reaper chasing another Reaper into the Shores of Gold for an hour and a half for what turns out to be a f*****g ancient goblet. The adventure and story to be told is yours and always unexpected.

The graphics in Sea of Thieves are just stunning. It is the most beautiful game, nay art, I have ever seen. I dare say the in game water looks more beautiful than real water. There are times that my crew is slightly intoxicated and just staring into the sea as the sun sets below the horizon

 Suddenly while sailing to Crooks Hollow, the water turns black. The Kraken. The next day you could be running Reaper chasing another Reaper into the Shores of Gold for an hour and a half for what turns out to be a f*****g ancient goblet. The adventure and story to be told is yours and always unexpected

 It's exhilarating and strips away any concerns about deciding what to do next. The team coordination required to be successful in the arena is nearly an Olympic-level feat and really puts the most impressive parts of Sea of Thieves on full display. It encourages cooperation with an all-hands-on-deck approach. [Music] See of Thieves is a pirate fantasy sandbox with an enormous amount of things to do, made unpredictable and exciting by the addition of other players
