I have only done a small trial run with about 33 lbs so far, and intend to use it on multi-day 50km + hikes Pros: -Comes with rain cover (mine was blue, unlike hedious neon yellow on the photo.) -Built in very minimal day pack - has good sized straps so it shouldn't dig in with moderate weight -Can open from the front and top. So you're not digging through your whole pack to grab one item. -bottom sleeping bag compartment, with exterior straps underneath for pads or tent

Alright so I got this backpack, because I thought it would be huge, and that I would be able to carry a lot of stuff in it. It is big, and you can carry a lot of stuff, but it's also very disorganized in regard to how the zippers are. It's definitely not made for "ease of access" and maybe it's designed that way to make it harder for people in congested areas from robbing you? For hiking it isn't very convenient.

This pack is amazing. I tried on several packs this past summer and no one compared to this pack for comfort. The suspension follows you as you hike and does not rub. I bought this pack for my upcoming hike of The Great Divide Trail this coming summer

Now to test out how comfortable it is to lug all this on my commute to/from work. Let me first mention that I decided to remove the padded strap that goes around the waist. Didn't feel comfortable having that thing dangling and the buckle clanging around. The bag already draws enough attention

I un-Velcro'd that sucker pretty quickly as I'm not hiking anytime soon. After reading how many customers have had the chest straps pop off during hikes, I inspected them to see why. They connect with tubular metal claps to thick ridges of strap stitching, and I can see how if they ever pop off they'll be a hassle to get back on. I don't use them for daily use and they dangle nicely out of my way

I bought this for a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. We did have to exchange for size. he is 5'11, 190 lbs and broad. I originally got him a Large but we exchanged for a medium

It is too large for everyday use but too small for travel. It does not compete with hiking backpacks for day hikes because it is too heavy for that. The top pocket is too small for being useful, it's even hard to fit large sunglasses into it. The front pocket (you can see it by the flap on pictures) is only accessible when the buckles are open and the top is folded away because there is a zipper that runs around the pocket underneath the flap and it is really high on both sides - why to do this? If you can not get into the pocket without all those operations then you are as good getting into the main compartment

And having this stretchy pocket in the front for putting a helmet or just some extra gear that is definitely essential if you're looking for a backpac...

You know behind your back. Basically, between your back and the pack to keep you a little bit cooler when you're carrying the pack on the lower portio...

Lite weight. Storage pockets / design+++ galore. Extremely comfortable & zippers / access is excellent.

I CAN get the laptop out, but it is like trying to pull a spoiled brat out of a candy store. I cringe as I can feel the zipper scratching away at my laptop as I force it out of the side pocket. So usually I just opt out and open everything up. If they gave me just half an inch more it would have been perfect
