Both good packs, but kept the Citro. Mainly for trimmer size and better pockets (I prefer multiple pockets, the Manta design was more about one large central storage area). 

 Maybe the Citro was more about the multiple pockets for the volume, while the Manta was more about “one big pocket” design which made the pack need to be larger. And the better back trampoline support in the Manta may have also been a factor. Might have just made it appear larger. 

I’m not sure if they both had the same storage volume of 24 liters, but the Manta just looked bigger. It was visibly bigger just sitting next to the Citro. Maybe the Citro was more about the multiple pockets for the volume, while the Manta was more about “one big pocket” design which made the pack need to be larger. And the better back trampoline support in the Manta may have also been a factor

I find the women's backpacks aren't long enough. I'm a 19" back, and it's on the high end of women's, but in the middle for a man. I have a couple women's backpacks, and they just don't fit lengthwise or my shoulders. So I decided to try a mens

Gregory Citro 30 H20 Day Pack Review

 Now, as with most backpacks nowadays, it comes with a loop at the bottom and an elastic attachment towards the middle where you can attach your trekking poles. If you wanted to see how I do this, I do have a video that I will link at the end of the video and I will link in the description as well. That loop makes it so much easier to strap your trekking poles as opposed to trying to carry them when you don't need them or putting them in your side pocket where you risk poking yourself with the points. I have used this pack on several hikes recently and I have absolutely loved it

 On the sides, you have these straps so that if you are, if you have something tall in your pocket, you can strap it up so that it doesn't flop around. I like to carry around my selfie stick so I will put that into the side pocket and so it does not flop around, you strap it in. Gregory Citro 24 Liter

  Equal: side mesh pockets accessible with pack on; both are comfortable, both sit on hips well and take pack weight off shoulders.  Both good packs, but kept the Citro. Mainly for trimmer size and better pockets (I prefer multiple pockets, the Manta design was more about one large central storage area).  I didn’t prefer (but wasn’t totally against) the Manta’s sideways-entry back panel pocket

 The Manta shoulder straps were slightly chafing my shoulders on test loads, so it concerned me that might amplify on actual hikes. I also heard some intermittent squeaking from the Manta on test loads walked around my small house.  I really liked the Citro’s pocket setup, lots of areas to subdivide gear, the main storage area had a small separate zippered pouch up top. The main storage is plenty big, but the Manta was bigger

Great for the long haul.  Lightweight, pockets for GU / chews and phone.  I like to freeze the hydration pack and is nice and cool against my back for warm weather runs in addition to ice cold drinking water!

Very happy with this vest prefer this hydration pack to camelbak brand i'd been with for nearly a decade. All of the nathan products seem to be well engineered with comfort in mind

 Pockets are really convenient and hold phone and snacks. Secure really looking forward to getting in some long runs with this. I bought this for my wife for her birthday because she told me to she loves how it fits and the straps don't rub in dumb places like underarms there's plenty of space for snacks and additional water containers. The only downside is that, if a bear or vault latched onto it, there are two straps that must be undone instead of one quick release: nice compact pack for running there are more expensive packs that provide a more compact fit, but for the money this is the Best mix provides adequate storage for large phones and nutrition for longer runs absolutely love

 I do like the pack because it doesn't cause chaffing and it can fit a lot of different essentials. My last comment is that I tried to use some of my exoflasks with the long straws in the front (from my other vests) and unfortunately, that doesn't really work either since the front "loops" are too far away from the pockets where my bottles sit - so my straws were bouncing around all unsecured and that wasn't fun.

 I can carry my keys, phone, gels.. chapstick, shades & clip my blinking light on it. And I don’t feel weighed down!  I had to YouTube how to open the darn bladder lol! And picked up a tip on how to prevent the bladder from sloshing around (let the air out of it before sealing)

 And I absolutely adore the color! It was worth every penny. And I stay hydrated on those 12+ mile runs! Happy Runner!! :) I cant recommend it enough.

FINALLY! I CAN RUN HANDSFREE :)

It fits very snug, but I am in the process of losing weight so I pray it will fit loser by the time I have my first 5K in mid July. I have lost 48 pounds.
