GreenPan Reserve vs Kenmore Elite Devon Tri-Ply

i was on the hunt for a set with the black and gold, came across this and thought i hit the jackpot! sadly like others, there is chipping along the sides and i hand wash it. i’ve had since January and the chipping is just getting worse. also, they say it’s metal utensil safe and extremely durable - no! i usually use silicone but accidentally used a metal spatula, thought it was fine since it claims to be metal utensil safe - the bottom of the pan got scratched after only ONE time of barely using a metal spatula. i’m disappointed i spent this much on a set that clearly won’t last as long as i thought it would

I have had these for a few weeks now and overall they are pretty decent pots and pans. Clean up nice, they don't stick which is nice. I did have some pitting on the small pot the first time I used it which was odd and kind of frustrating seeings as I only boiled potatoes with it.

I followed the care instructions very carefully but just contact with the kids alone causes chipping on the edges of the pans. They are a good weight and cook very well, but I am very disappointed with the overall quality for the price.

I haven’t tried the pots yet, but looking at what happened, I think I’ll have to keep scrubbing it with salt after every use.

It's just not good quality cookware. But for the number of items it came with for the price, it's definitely good for your budget. If you're looking to have quality material you can be happy about, look elsewhere.

This is not a thin set. It has thickness and weight and cooks wonderful. Cleans up really easy and shines. I put a lot of research into my purchase before deciding on this set

Clean up is a breeze, wait until the pans cool down enough and just wipe out with a paper towel or warm water with soap. They arrived in a nice box, but one of the pans had a chip on the rim. Which is okay, but I’ll keep an eye out and update my review if the pans continue to chip. I recommend getting pot liners so you can stack them with these soft cloths so they don’t bump into each other and chip

The pots are smaller sizes than I’m used to but I love the weight of them. The large pan is a great size and great for making spaghetti sauce. So, far what I’ve used has cleaned up with ease. I haven’t put them thru all the tests yet but, if I kept the inferior set for a long time, I’m sure this one will be around for an equally long time

" Even when using a liberal amount of oil food will stick to the pans. And be very careful about how high you turn the heat up. We cooked something one time on a slightly higher temperature on one of the frying pans, and the coating appears to be wearing off already. Granted we have never put them in the dishwasher before and only use silicone or wood utensils and the coating still seems to be wearing down very quickly

I do a lot of cooking. These pans do not clean up well. I would never recommend them.

However, I did keep my heat on medium-low to make sure the pan heated well and that my food wouldn't burn or stick to the pan.

This is a Great Heavy Duty Set and if you break them in Properly, their much easier to clean! Nobody ever breaks in Stainless Steel Pots and pans, they just cook on them immediately, and then complain about how hard it is to clean them. But it's real simple, It's similar to breaking in Cast Iron Pots and pans, but you should Look online for yourself, on how to Properly break in a Stainless Steel Pots and pans set, and you'll see for yourself that it makes a difference! Quality to Price Ratio = 5 Stars!

Heat distribution is mediocre. Will never buy again & will not ever recommend to anyone.

I treated myself to an induction stove - 1/3 of my stainless pots & pans worked. This set that is induction friendly is great. Well priced and works excellent on my new cooking surface - so fast & clean!
