GreenLife Soft Grip vs Tramontina Gourmet 12-Piece Tri-Ply Clad Cookware Set

I usually just cook for myself, so the smaller one is my go-to which I use several times a week. The non-stick is nice and easy to clean, but after having the pan for a few months, it has taken on some nasty stains that I can’t get out, and I’ve noticed recently that there is more food stuck on the pan when I’m done cooking than before. It still cleans easily, but the non-stick feature is not as effective. The stains have really thrown me off and I’m not sure how to get rid of them, unfortunately

Ours was manufactured in China, but that was pretty much expected. It is stainless so those expecting ease of clean up like Teflon or ceramic will be disappointed obviously, but stainless is a whole different animal and if you treat it right and use it properly it works and cleans up almost easily as modern chemical based cookware without the worry of what your feeding your family unknowingly. In other words, it's not for the 'super' lazy cook if you want it to continue to look great, and it does look great, it needs a bit of care

Loved these pans until the coating starting coming off. We used them for about 4 months before both pans had the nonstick come up. I even looked at the same brand at other stores and it’s a common issue for them. Wish I could’ve gotten more use out of these

If quality matters, this set is for you! If you want for displaying, you'll be using barkeeper on the inside for stains, not food sticking, after each use. But, that said, each pots, pans are a beauty, and a joy to use. I'm blessed.

The ceramic coating works beautifully & so much better than Teflon. We got rid of all of our old Teflon pots & replaced them with these and a few stainless steel, and we like these better that the steel. The steel is great but things stick as can be expected, and they seem to have poorer heat distribution than these ceramic coated ones. I though not using very high heat would be a problem, but not at all

, you’re gonna want to get a much bigger sauté pan as well. I love both of the sauté pans, but I have found that on many occasions I could use a much larger one too.

I believe this set has the best value and size selection. The pan sizes of 10 and 12 are just right. Most of the cheaper tramontina has 8 and 10 instead. The large saute pan is great for family sized meals
