 Well, since it's hard wired with a parking mode cable, that is a little easier said than done.  I really wish I had gone with one of the Chinese brands instead of this one. Garmin is a well-known and respected brand that you would expect to make a high-quality and solid product. They really should be ashamed to release a product this bad

 Anyway all good as far that goes. Using the app is simple, and it worked perfectly so far. Nice to be able to view an event directly on your phone without having to remove the card , Wifi, or even take the camera from the dash- like some dashbcams that are adhesive mounted, what good is the screen them?? Anyway also like the very compact size. A bit pricey, but I haven't any others with the Bluetooth feature

Got the app and paired it to the phone. Have to do that in the car apparently, not just plugged to the computer. Anyway all good as far that goes. Using the app is simple, and it worked perfectly so far

Great camera

Over $300 camera, without a rear camera (even though you are able to add cameras through the app), not even a tool to push your wires through the panels like any other cheaper cameras out there, only 720P resolution for the inside, which my $200 cheaper VAVA 2K has 1080P, lousy Wi-Fi, keeps going in and out, asking you to join every minute – RIDICULOUS, not even a booklet for BASIC INSTRUCTION how to operate the camera – UNBELIEVABLE, that every other electronic device/dashcam out there gives you even if you need to update it later on (that's what they claim as an excuse, so what?!). Easy to use and easy to install, and even Great Idea for the future of dash cams, but way too GREEDY AND OVERPRICED dashcam, definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for this CRAZY PRICE.

 But file size can become to large, and this app can't deal with large files. There is an option to "trim" the video files to a shorter length. So far I find 5 minutes is the max.  I could however, download those bigger files by connecting directly to the computer

 -The instructions are very scant and not well centralized. The supplied pamphlet is very lacking, even the colors are wrong(for various cam modes). I find answers in different places too, that is just dumb and can be corrected. -the PIP position for exported videos needs to be a hard set option, not every time

  My first impression was on how tiny this unit is. All the better for windshield placement. I put it just under the rear view mirror. The magnetic mount was one of my buying decisions, having previous experience with the rubber suction type mounts

 It has the voice and save button right there on the little camera which my last cam didn't have at all and its a veryyyy essential feature to record key events quickly. I only had for 1 day and its exactly what I wanted, I will update review if anything comes up.  **edit**  This dash cam quality is too low! It cannot pick up plates unless your not moving and right behind the other driver. It works well with the interior and exterior camera views as well as audio but the quality just doesn't make up for it

 If it cannot, the live view won't work for you (since bluetooth can't stream that much data) and you might not be able to update as well. Not sure if it works on iPhone but I previously had a iPhone 6S which always had wifi direct working.  If you run a hotspot on your phone wifi direct will also be disabled, I use it on a wifi tablet which gets the hotspot signal from my main phone so that WILL work. Wifi has to be on for wifi direct to work

 This one records the front and back and takes the old school microUSB (sadly not USB-C). It comes w/ a 16gig microSD card (ADATA) which I replaced for my microcenter 32gig card and the app works well.  Now here's the tricky part since I seen some bad reviews. The camera connects to your Android device using bluetooth yes, but to it work fully with the app you need WIFI-Direct

 Its less than 480P quality, better off getting something else. Its way too expensive for such low quality video. Very disappointed. Far away shots and moving shots, it just doesn't do it! I say this because it had trouble picking up plates of someone who caused an accident

  The real problem is that i've noticed the camera turning off and getting hot while being used. Avg temperatures are mid 80s where i live, which I admit is a bit on the hot side, but i have ceramic G5 tinted windows that block 85% of heat, and in my opinion, i don't think those are extreme conditions by any means. I use a Viofo T130 3-channel which does front, rear, and driver's side (tiltable to cabin). This way you are covered for rear-end collisions, front, and your choice of recording either someone coming up to your driver's window, like police or nut cases, or to record yourself and passengers. Hard-wired it runs without any hassle and is smartphone configurable with lots of options. There are fuse taps that make wiring relatively easy

There's so much to choose from. Ideally:

 You see with the A139, it has three different dash cam components. You've got separate front-facing dash cams, interior-facing dash cam, and rear-facing dash cam. The T130, on the other hand, has an integrated front and interior-facing dash cam with a separate second rear-facing dash cam. Additionally, there's some different internals between the two dash cams as well, which is going to affect both the video quality as well as some of the features that are available

 Hey, what's up, guys? So in this video, we're going to be comparing the VFO A139 and VFO T130 dash cams. These are both good three-channel dash cams, meaning they're capable of recording the front, the rear, and the interior of your car. Now I've been running both of these dash cams here in my car for the past couple weeks or so. And in this video, I want to go over the pros and cons of each setup

 For example, both dash cams are good for recording both when you're driving as well as when you're parked. The front dash cams are going to record at 1440p or 2K. And then the interior and rear-facing dash cams are going to record at 1080p or full HD. Additionally, they both have interior-facing dash cams with infrared LEDs that can light up the inside of your car, which is especially important when you're driving around at night

 I've got the A139 installed on my wife's car, and I like the stealthier install with the dash cam hidden behind the rear view mirror. Additionally, having the separate interior facing dash cam means that I don't have to make some of the compromises that I do with an integrated setup, and I can get a more optimal placement option for that interior facing dash cam. Additionally, for my personal recording, or just for YouTube videos, I prefer the aesthetics of the A139's internal cam with its more natural colors in the daytime, which is when I do most of my driving. Additionally, I've also found that based on where I like to mount the dash cams, the A139 gives me a little bit easier access to the memory card right on the side of the dash cam, as opposed to the T130 that puts a slot on the top of the dash cam

 The rear camera is also on par with the expectations, what stunned me the most is how well it handles dynamic range and even at night some plates may be readable even if the car lights are pointing towards it. It's remarkable, apparently there's a lot more noise than the usual but since clarity and details is what we're mostly seeking for, that's ok for a dash cam. The inside module performance is also to be praised, it can work with or without the infrared LEDs, even if it's night, things are gonna be fine. As usual, I had to put it side by side with my primary dash cam, results as you can notice are quite decent

 So if you are about to buy a dash camera and then travel abroad, make sure to check the regulations so that you avoid possible complications or even fines. VFO This is a brand which, if you're into dash cameras, have certainly heard about before. They continue to be among the best value choices when it comes to high-end feature-rich products that provide amazing video quality and won't break your budget. Or at least, not that much, given the fact that this 3-channel dash camera costs $239 without some of the extra accessories you may order, like a Bluetooth remote or CPL filter

 We'll also compare the footage quality to a twice more expensive dash cam, and let's find out if the results are gonna surprise you. Let's unbox first. From the pack we already know GPS, infrared night vision, QHD and Sony image sensors which are part of the highlights. Honestly, I was surprised to see all of these components fitting inside this single box, so that's pretty good utilization of the space

Also since the sensor has tolerable pixel density, it may be slightly better choice for low light performance, if you need to review the footage, to adjust angles or simply to reconfigure, just use the smartphone app

 In most cases it will be somewhat rare, but if you need a parking mode camera this may be an issue for you.

 the hk3 wiring is terrible vs the HK4 kit, The HK4 does a much better job with the parking sensor. (I recommend those as they can force the camera off when you get to low of voltage on your car battery.) When the device has a voltage issue it will toggle repeatedly from 3 cam to 2 cam mode and back and forth. Occasionally it happens with the HK4

Installed OK but had multiple issues from beginning. The advertising said it uses a 156 GB micro SS card- it doesn’t according to company, wasted $50 there. It’s trip I passed by a crash, pushed Bluetooth button & camera says “recording” - it didn’t. Clips, thousands of them- are disorganized
