I like the garmin tandem for its 1440p and 30fps with super capacitor however I don’t need or want dual facing since I don’t need in cab video.  Well, since it's hard wired with a parking mode cable, that is a little easier said than done.  I really wish I had gone with one of the Chinese brands instead of this one. Garmin is a well-known and respected brand that you would expect to make a high-quality and solid product. They really should be ashamed to release a product this bad

 Anyway all good as far that goes. Using the app is simple, and it worked perfectly so far. Nice to be able to view an event directly on your phone without having to remove the card , Wifi, or even take the camera from the dash- like some dashbcams that are adhesive mounted, what good is the screen them?? Anyway also like the very compact size. A bit pricey, but I haven't any others with the Bluetooth feature

Great camera

Over $300 camera, without a rear camera (even though you are able to add cameras through the app), not even a tool to push your wires through the panels like any other cheaper cameras out there, only 720P resolution for the inside, which my $200 cheaper VAVA 2K has 1080P, lousy Wi-Fi, keeps going in and out, asking you to join every minute – RIDICULOUS, not even a booklet for BASIC INSTRUCTION how to operate the camera – UNBELIEVABLE, that every other electronic device/dashcam out there gives you even if you need to update it later on (that's what they claim as an excuse, so what?!). Easy to use and easy to install, and even Great Idea for the future of dash cams, but way too GREEDY AND OVERPRICED dashcam, definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for this CRAZY PRICE.

 But file size can become to large, and this app can't deal with large files. There is an option to "trim" the video files to a shorter length. So far I find 5 minutes is the max.  I could however, download those bigger files by connecting directly to the computer

 -The instructions are very scant and not well centralized. The supplied pamphlet is very lacking, even the colors are wrong(for various cam modes). I find answers in different places too, that is just dumb and can be corrected. -the PIP position for exported videos needs to be a hard set option, not every time

  My first impression was on how tiny this unit is. All the better for windshield placement. I put it just under the rear view mirror. The magnetic mount was one of my buying decisions, having previous experience with the rubber suction type mounts

Mostly good but for the Android app.

 It has the voice and save button right there on the little camera which my last cam didn't have at all and its a veryyyy essential feature to record key events quickly. I only had for 1 day and its exactly what I wanted, I will update review if anything comes up.  **edit**  This dash cam quality is too low! It cannot pick up plates unless your not moving and right behind the other driver. It works well with the interior and exterior camera views as well as audio but the quality just doesn't make up for it

 If it cannot, the live view won't work for you (since bluetooth can't stream that much data) and you might not be able to update as well. Not sure if it works on iPhone but I previously had a iPhone 6S which always had wifi direct working.  If you run a hotspot on your phone wifi direct will also be disabled, I use it on a wifi tablet which gets the hotspot signal from my main phone so that WILL work. Wifi has to be on for wifi direct to work

 This one records the front and back and takes the old school microUSB (sadly not USB-C). It comes w/ a 16gig microSD card (ADATA) which I replaced for my microcenter 32gig card and the app works well.  Now here's the tricky part since I seen some bad reviews. The camera connects to your Android device using bluetooth yes, but to it work fully with the app you need WIFI-Direct

 Its less than 480P quality, better off getting something else. Its way too expensive for such low quality video. Very disappointed. Far away shots and moving shots, it just doesn't do it! I say this because it had trouble picking up plates of someone who caused an accident

  The real problem is that i've noticed the camera turning off and getting hot while being used. Avg temperatures are mid 80s where i live, which I admit is a bit on the hot side, but i have ceramic G5 tinted windows that block 85% of heat, and in my opinion, i don't think those are extreme conditions by any means.  You have to hit a dashcam so the sensor can register it as "hit" and save. 3. All acidents videos saved with 5seconds before accident and 15seconds after. So if you have something happened on the road and decide to save a video for later - you have to hit your camera and it will record only 5secs of what happened before that
