This is a pretty nice case and the size thst i was looking for. That's the 2 stars.  I bought this based off reviews that parts I already had would fit. Several reviews stated a 360 AIO would fit and nooo waay

 This is basically for people who like to define, look but want air to get into their case, and so we have the measure Phi we're gon na run through the thermals in noise. Today, that's really the only focus of this review. If you would like more information again on ease of installation, build features, things like that check, our define, see review it's the same case, aside from the features already noted, just like with the be quiet, dark bass, pro 900 we're starting with standalone test first and then We'Ll look at comparative numbers. Our standalone testing will focus on the define C and the Mesha Phi C and the stock configuration our torture test

 Better in the mesh by torture, CPU test for 3 degrees Celsius better than the mattify, but none of those numbers are that big of a change for how big of a change the case has gone through. So, to get the most out of this, you have to add fans, as you can see in our two fan: comparisons from the earlier benchmark tables. It'S clear that the mesh to fight taps into the potential of those more than the defined C does, which makes sense. Given the front configuration so for this case, what we learned here, of course, we only have so much time to test so many configurations

 With the stock configuration in blender GPU tests, we've seen about a 2 Celsius difference blender CPU tests they're effectively the same temperature 3d mark. The CPU is better by 2 Celsius with the Mesha Phi, the GPU is the same torch or GPU test we're two degrees Celsius. Better in the mesh by torture, CPU test for 3 degrees Celsius better than the mattify, but none of those numbers are that big of a change for how big of a change the case has gone through. So, to get the most out of this, you have to add fans, as you can see in our two fan: comparisons from the earlier benchmark tables

 It is one of the best cool the cases we've worked with. Lately, it's a mid tower as well. It comes in white and black and I think there might be one other color and 75 bucks. So it's not too distant from this price

Fractal Meshify C Review: Thermals & Noise vs. Define C

  Note, this is on the solid side panel as I want my computer to run fast not light up like a disco ball.

  With that one modification I'm able to run a 12900k and a 6900xt without thermal throttling, so it would be nice to see the case just come with that.  Finally, this is more a gripe, but if the front shroud was a little bit deeper it could fit 25mm fans nicely, instead I used 15mm width.  Note, this is on the solid side panel as I want my computer to run fast not light up like a disco ball.

 Yes - the PCB could have been colored black - or yellow instead of old school green, but I am not able to see it once installed anyway, so it does not matter much to me.  I tried finding info on it such as TRIM, drivers or encryption, but it DOES have all wear leveling features but no encryption. I did not mind the absence of encryption since my Teamgroup (which beat my old 860 Samsung by a lot) SSD did not have encryption or it's own drivers or firmware updates. Once this was installed - it blew away the Teamgroup, the old Samsung and it made my already speedy PC feel like a new PC!  The Samsung that I had always tested below the advertised speed

 Even GTA V loads quicker! I am running a 32" at 1440P.  I am glad that when I was picking up the Samsung (before I placed this order!), I returned it right then and there, as I saved about $55 and GAINED a whole lot in performance. SK said that they would revise their website and provide a toolbox (they should have had one before launch - for such a large company), but I am HAPPY that I made this purchase and I trusted this brand because they actually design, MANUFACTURE and SUPPLY the memory to other brands, so of course they know what they are doing more than the other brands!  I give this the same praise as the pro reviewers do! The performance and the price make this a no contest for other brands! You get the performance (or better) of other brands TOP (most expensive) drives or better - for only $135! Again, SK Hynix MAKES the memory, so that is why they can bring such high quality for so low! If you do not know companies that are involved with the sources of PC components - just trust us and get this!

 The Teamgroup drive tested 3110 read and 2008 write when the specs called for 3300 and 2500. The SK tested (using Samsung Magician) 3440 read and 3241 write! This is the first drive I had that got just about at the stated speeds! The increased write speeds truly make a difference in all functions! I was not sure of the benefits of faster write speeds, but once I started checking websites and DOWNLOADING games, playing games and video editing - I THEN noticed the benefits! Downloads now write as fast or faster than the internet bandwidth.  Games like GTA V (or anything, truth be told) have full draw, INCREASED detail, coloring, speed, frames/smoothness and overall performance! It is clear-cut with this drive! There is ZERO performance hits that I noticed with this - only performance increases and a CONSISTENT performance throughout all testing! Photoshop loads a lot quicker. Vegas Pro loads quicker

The Samsung would have cost me $195 after taxes, but I looked and I kept seeing reviews on this drive and I remember that SK Hynix did have drives, but they were not listed on 'other' sites that I was thinking about buying from.  The system tested, took 12 seconds to boot Windows 10 counting from the time I pressed the power button. I have tested several SSDs, and that is the fastest the system will boot. I have noticed that any drive with read speeds of 1800 MB/s or better will accomplish the task.  The SK hynix P31 500GB surpassed the advertised write speeds of 3100 MB/s reaching 3183

  I dropped a star since the software available was pretty much useless and many similar drives provide hardware encryption.  SK hynix P31 is a fast SSD and a good price point and fares even better if you could get one when discounted. If you do not need that much speed (most of us don't), you could get a less expensive SSD with even more capacity.

 I have noticed that any drive with read speeds of 1800 MB/s or better will accomplish the task.  The SK hynix P31 500GB surpassed the advertised write speeds of 3100 MB/s reaching 3183.53 MB/s. It felt short on advertised read speed of 3500 MB/s reaching just 3440

91 MB/s.  On real word test it managed to reach 2787 MB/s write speed and 2209 MB/s read speed. I transferred 70 GB of mixed data from another SSD with 3500 MB/s read speed. If you don't write that much data , filing up the SSD SLC cache, then the P31 will run a lot faster

High write performance, top endurance rating and runs cool.

 These days I operate my own photographic and design studio and have an HP graphics workstation that is substantially more sophisticated than most typical PC’s. My language is performance, not benchmark tests under ideal conditions or what manufacturers put on their spec sheets. The company who makes workstations like mine has installed Hynix memory for a very long time in their products, it’s what I buy when I upgrade memory. Due to the heavy use my systems get I was shopping for 1TB SSD’s and did a lot of research

 When I plugged my new Hynix into the slot and powered up my computer it was absolutely flawless, every app, every file, every preference, ever login, they were all exactly when they used to be only now I had a much larger, faster and brand-new main drive.

 The support docs are free and helpful no matter what your skill level is. This is especially true if you are doing a data migration from your boot drive to a new SSD, the risk of some data not transferring or being corrupted is too great, which is also a definite mandatory to back up everything you own before even diving in.  YES OR NO  This brings me to the bottom line a lot faster than I usually get there when evaluating a product. I’ll tell you why I chose this one and from there you’re on your own

I put about ten percent of my choice on it being the right form factor and configuration to fit and work in my system and a full ninety percent on trusting this brand to give me the best performance in its price range. As a side note, if you are closer to the novice level you shouldn’t have to worry about cloning your system boot drive over to this as your new one - the app they include (while not being the most sophisticated ever made) is excellent

Why I chose this one

Don't buy this for a PS5. It doesn't meet the minimum requirements. It may work well in a PC or laptop. The search engine for Amazon needs a lot of work

Installed this 2TB as system drive in a Dell G7 17 laptop, replacing the original Hynix PC611 1TB NVMe, to get some more storage space (a WD SN550 2TB is already installed in the second M.2 slot). This 2TB runs a bit faster than the old 1TB Hynix but it also runs hotter. The old Hynix would idle at around 30C but the new 2TB idles around 40C

 Has the same original heat shield/heat sink installed. But even the other WD 2TB with a heat shield heats up to about 59C with just a sustained read, so I'm not too concerned about the rise in temperature as I'm not playing games much, apart from Microsoft Flight Simulator now and again. It was an easy install as I used the Hynix System Migration Utility software (free download from their site) and it copied over the C & D partitions without a hitch. What did happen unfortunately was that after the clone install, the second NVMe (WD) suddenly had Bitlocker applied and I needed to get into Microsoft account to retrieve the 48 digit key to unlock it every time I rebooted! What a pain, and very strange as I have Windows 11 Home version which doesn't support Bitlocker! Took a bit of research but eventually got it removed

That problem completely prevents me from updating past an old & *no longer supported* version of Windows10 to the May 2019 update (Windows 10 May 2019 Update (version 1903)).  This is obviously not great for security reasons, but was at first workable. As more time goes on, however, this is becoming a seriously limiting problem for more and more software requires at least Win10 version 1903and this dang thing CANNOT ALLOW MY COMPUTER TO RUN IT

 There's no way to change this, and it prevents updating to Win10 version 1903+. If you have an AMD machine already, maybe you'll have no trouble. But for mine, this is now a $100+ paperweight.  ------  Here's the thing; this drive is fast
