Fox Proframe Helmet vs iXS Trigger FF

With a scooter going ~50mph, I always wear a Fox Proframe helmet, motorbike gloves, motorbike reinforced jacket, and I try to wear a motorbike reinforced jean or at leat a good standard jean and baskets. Never without gloves, without helmet and protective gear, even for going at the beach which is 2km away from me. It saved me once already when I crashed (hopefully slow, 10-15mph) in a car.

Light weight and ventilated enough to justify a full face helmet when you want the protection, but still have to pedal.

I bought the IXS Trigger FF downhill helmet to keep my head cool during summer heatwaves. Full-face, super light and comfortable! MIPS version also available.

The small is supposed to fit a smaller head but the pads end up with a loose fit to a head they should fit. I would buy an extra thick pad to fix if available but none exist.

My head size was in the upper 2 cm of the small medium size so I returned the bigger one and got the small one. I use the smaller cheek pads, and after a couple rides, it’s fitting better. It’s light, adjustability knob in rear on climbs and pre-descents was a big selling point for me. I wear this helmet when I’m gonna ride some more gnarly trails but it could easily be your helmet if you’re wondering that

I love the ventilation, light weight, and unencumbered visibility. The chin strap and general fit are very bicycle-helmet-like, not moto-helmet like other downhill mtn. bike helmets I've seen. The magnetic latch of the chin strap doesn't inspire confidence, but seems OK, and is definitely quick and easy to use

Dude, IXS Trigger FF mips, mine just arrived last Tuesday, best god damn MTB helmet on the market, FF or otherwise, I can't even begin to tell you how perfect this helmet is, you just got to try it, I will say this, it defies EVERY "con" of a FF helmet, not too hot, not heavy, & i am in AZ riding in 90 100 degree temps, don't even notice I have on a helmet, one piece EPS, shell fused to EPS, Enduro, but DH citified frontal impact, mips, more ventilation than any other helmet I have seen, especially FF & pretty sure there is still some avail on Amazon, $300. I'm telling ya, I would, at least put it in your list of possible's. You won't find a better FF for airflow, that much I know, I spent months searching for that very thing, you know, cuz summer in AZ was on it's way.
