The leather is a really nice quality and color. The exterior details are subtle and the reinforced leather around the high use areas makes the briefcase a durable "work" bag. The weight of the workbag is right around 2lbs, which makes it great for traveling. I just received this product and put on my macbook. When I was purchasing I was hesitant because of the negative reviews saying it was hard to put on (to the point it could break your screen) and that the plastic locking tabs were way too hard to open. I found both of these things to be untrue! While putting it on is not totally intuitive, it is easy to figure out. You do not need to press on the screen very hard to get the top on

If you're nervous because of the negative reviews on here don't be

  They spent too much time on the design (which really isn’t that nice) and not enough time on usability.  If you’re planning on opening and closing your MacBook even semi-often, I would suggest looking for a different case.  If you’re expecting a higher-quality case for the steeper $80 price-tag of this item, I would suggest looking for a different case.  All around disappointed in this case; especially for it being $80

Would recommend and worth the price for superior materials used. It has a Snug fit, Modern look and provides Excellent protection. Although it is Lightweight the item still holds up and is Durable, but with a Sleek aesthetic.
