Best Ski Pants for Women of 2022 - GearLab

I am 5'2 and 143 pounds and had to size up to a medium (the small was skin tight on my thighs). This is not a compliant against Flylow solely but generally I find it very hard to ski pants that fit over my thighs and be able to wear layers. My thighs are a bit muscular. I understand that ski clothing needs to be streamlined and not bulky but not all woman are built like 'models' with twig legs and are 6 feet tall

Size up for Athletic thighs

I bought these bibs last season. I had to size up a bit, as I'm pair shaped and wanted a little more room around my hips, especially for touring. I think the size guide recommended a large and I ended up going for the XL. I'm 5'5, 160 lbs with some strong thighs, and this size seems to work for me

Nice Bibs when its not puking snow

Super soft, really durable, I love these and I am never getting a different brand/style every again. I went with a small instead of an xs because of sizing. Im 5'4" and 115#. I am in-between sizes but glad I went with the small

 Mine are just tight enough that I am choosing to see it as a little extra support rather than uncomfortable haha. I am a ski patroller so I was looking for something that was durable and versatile for all conditions. So far, I believe these are great for that. I run extremely cold, but last week I was working in temperatures below zero and with proper layering I was comfortable! I will say that my butt has felt a bit damp at times, so I am not sure if I feel that these are 100% waterproof but I haven't gotten to truly test that yet

 This wouldn’t keep me from continuing to buy these pants over and over, the pros still outweigh the cons and they perform great.

 My only rub is that they wore out a little sooner than I’d hoped; if you ski a lot (80+ days a season) I’d expect 2-2.5 seasons out of these before seeing wear and tear in the form of peeling weather tape inside the pants and holes forming at the ankles of the pants from ski edges (even through the reinforcement). This wouldn’t keep me from continuing to buy these pants over and over, the pros still outweigh the cons and they perform great.

Really awesome pants, wish they were a little more durable

I have the Foxy and moxie bibs and love them both! I really like the higher front on the foxy bibs. I also like how they fit, they’re very flattering but they are not restricting. I hate to feel restricted in pants while skiing and these allow me to move how I want. I would definitely recommend these if you are looking for high quality bibs and want to feel good!

I love my bibs!

I do have to say, I was immediately drawn to the shark color, but was equally impressed with the design and durability of these bibs. The zipper along the leg is a must for bathroom breaks in the woods (especially with COVID). All of the zippers and pockets are extremely durable, and I love the large front pocket, its great for keeping my phone warm. I though I was a size medium, but it was a little baggy so I ended up exchanging it for a small tall and I love the way it fits

 Overal, I felt like many people that S is a little too small, but not much. If it was possible to adjust the top somehow, I'd consider it. One thing that I really disliked about it - price.

You need a ski pant that can handle the daily abuse you inflict on your clothes from the ski resort to the backcountry. In other words, the Trew Gear Women's Chariot Bib Pant. A three-layer Dermizax EV membrane and fully taped seams give this pant excellent waterproof protection against snowstorms in the resort and against sit-down-for-snack times in the backcountry. The Private Reserve shell fabric is surprisingly durable to handle abuse, and it's very lightweight. Articulation at the hips and knees gives you the freedom of movement you need to charge powder bowls and carve through trees. The three-quarter-length zipper makes for easy on and off, and adjustable shoulder straps give you an ideal fit regardless of how many layers you have on. YKK Aquaguard zippers on the side zip and all external pockets mean water can't sneak in that way. And both the double-stitched seams and Superfabric reinforcements bring the durability that will last for multiple seasons.

The Good Ride

After a year of trying to find bibs that fit my VERY athletic build, 5'6" 150lbs, big butt and telemark thighs :) I am so happy and relieved to have found these just in time for ski season. Went with the L so I would have more room to pack the pockets and ventilation, but the M fit me too. Fingers crossed they hold up, but I have been very am happy in them for my 2 days of touring so far.

 And then we get two chest pockets. So this one's a little smaller, it just is this front panel and it has kind of a mushy lining to it. And then this side is the same, you know, just this front panel there. And then we get the drop seat which has this flat waterproof zipper that comes all the way around and onto this side

 Every time I hike my pants just keep falling down so this would definitely be a good option for somebody like me. Yeah, but overall it seems like really well put together, I mean I feel like it's quality material and the stitching looks really good, I feel like they spent time constructing it and yeah I would definitely wear these on hikes or kind of every day on the mountain just because it seems like a versatile bib. So yeah, if you're looking for a bib for those hikes or just riding around the mountain or the powder day, these could be a good option.

 So yeah, so let's check it out. The one thing that I really like about these pants is this kick panel here. It's just like you meaty and feels indestructible and it goes all the way around so that's going to be really nice. You know, keep it nice and tough for hiking or walking around or just like general wear and tear

 You know, that's where they start to break down first so that's really cool. I like that material and I like that I don't really have to worry about beating it up. And then as we come up we have the inner thigh vents here so they're just open and a really nice length that goes from the top of the knee all the way up here so it's like pretty big and that's awesome especially for hiking to dump the heat out. And then we come up here and we have the pockets
