Or maybe you just like the way they look, which is reason enough (look good, ski good—right?). Regardless of the why, bibs have gained popularity in recent years both at the resort and in the backcountry, and the Flylow Foxy is a runaway favorite among female shredders. Flylow nailed the design, which is remarkably sleek and clean yet fully featured with four thigh vents, a number of well-placed pockets, and a long, barn-door zipper for easy entry and when nature calls. And like the Skyward II above, the Foxy uses a stretchy hardshell fabric (3L Tactic) that lends added comfort and mobility alongside winter-ready protection.

Fit can be an issue with bibs, but most women will find a Foxy that works for them, with five sizes from XS to XL and options for tall, regular, and short lengths. Keep in mind that Flylow pants do run a little tight—our tester found that a size small Foxy fit perfectly while the same size in the Sentinel above was on the baggy side. Best Ski Pants for Women of 2022 - GearLab

I am 5'2 and 143 pounds and had to size up to a medium (the small was skin tight on my thighs). This is not a compliant against Flylow solely but generally I find it very hard to ski pants that fit over my thighs and be able to wear layers. My thighs are a bit muscular. I understand that ski clothing needs to be streamlined and not bulky but not all woman are built like 'models' with twig legs and are 6 feet tall

I bought these bibs last season. I had to size up a bit, as I'm pair shaped and wanted a little more room around my hips, especially for touring. I think the size guide recommended a large and I ended up going for the XL. I'm 5'5, 160 lbs with some strong thighs, and this size seems to work for me

Super soft, really durable, I love these and I am never getting a different brand/style every again. I went with a small instead of an xs because of sizing. Im 5'4" and 115#. I am in-between sizes but glad I went with the small

 Mine are just tight enough that I am choosing to see it as a little extra support rather than uncomfortable haha. I am a ski patroller so I was looking for something that was durable and versatile for all conditions. So far, I believe these are great for that. I run extremely cold, but last week I was working in temperatures below zero and with proper layering I was comfortable! I will say that my butt has felt a bit damp at times, so I am not sure if I feel that these are 100% waterproof but I haven't gotten to truly test that yet

 This wouldn’t keep me from continuing to buy these pants over and over, the pros still outweigh the cons and they perform great.

 My only rub is that they wore out a little sooner than I’d hoped; if you ski a lot (80+ days a season) I’d expect 2-2.5 seasons out of these before seeing wear and tear in the form of peeling weather tape inside the pants and holes forming at the ankles of the pants from ski edges (even through the reinforcement). This wouldn’t keep me from continuing to buy these pants over and over, the pros still outweigh the cons and they perform great.

I have the Foxy and moxie bibs and love them both! I really like the higher front on the foxy bibs. I also like how they fit, they’re very flattering but they are not restricting. I hate to feel restricted in pants while skiing and these allow me to move how I want. I would definitely recommend these if you are looking for high quality bibs and want to feel good!

I love my bibs!

I do have to say, I was immediately drawn to the shark color, but was equally impressed with the design and durability of these bibs. The zipper along the leg is a must for bathroom breaks in the woods (especially with COVID). All of the zippers and pockets are extremely durable, and I love the large front pocket, its great for keeping my phone warm. I though I was a size medium, but it was a little baggy so I ended up exchanging it for a small tall and I love the way it fits

 Overal, I felt like many people that S is a little too small, but not much. If it was possible to adjust the top somehow, I'd consider it. One thing that I really disliked about it - price.

The only thing I don't LOVE about these bibs is the leg openings -- they're in a fixed size and they're just tight enough around my boots (in walk mode) to be a little annoying during transitions. I can deal though -- the features WAY outweigh that one thing. I'd highly recommend these bibs if you're looking for some hardshell skiing or snowboarding pants!

Fantastic Hardshell Bibs!

The size M fit well through the legs, but was too small in the torso area, so I returned it.  I'm 6'0 175lb and not overly big in the belly or chest area.  I bought a North Face product (also a M) that fit better.

 Yet, this is the most breathable waterproof hardshell I have experienced. It features large pit zips, but I am yet to use them.

OR has made admirable efforts to develop plus sizes in their clothing lines; it would be cool if OR made bigger sizes (beyond xl) in these.

I found the adjustment of the hood mechanism challenging to figure out – specifically to make the hood smaller to stay on my head when not wearing a helmet. I failed to do this while touring, but after experimenting with it at home, I could figure it out; simple markings on the hood or arrows pointing toward the hood adjustments would have helped.

The non-beacon chest pocket only has a small Velcro closure, so it's kind of useless as stuff can fall out if you bend over or get jostled. It's ok for shoving gloves or a hat in temporarily, but wasted space otherwise. Wish it had a zipper or at least Velcro across the whole top.
