 This one has one inner pocket here, another one here if you want to stall, uh, store smaller items that's really useful and then you got the mesh covers. You can easily see what you got inside here, and on the one on the right you have actually two zippers. so that this one acts as a extra sort of smaller compartment where you can store your dirty clothes and so on. So that's really handy when you travel like for a week weekend trip like we just did and I just put all the dirty clothes inside here so that's great

 Continuing to the outside, you have two exterior pockets here so this is fairly roomy and then you have an equal one on the other side as well. so two big pockets on the outside and then on the top. Here we have two, uh, strong handles. So if you want to carry it like this or you need to drag it or hold it or throw it or whatever you got to do, you got two strong handles to do it and same here on the on the other side as well, so that's that comes in real handy

 That's really nice and you get your hands free and you can carry this back for a longer period of time. on the zippers here you have a small hole so you can lock them with a padlock. So if you would check this bag when you're flying, you can easily lock it up and if the small holes don't work for you, you can always use the big ones. Don't tell anyone I said that, but that's a pro tip for you right there

Fjällräven Splitpack large review

 I know online pictures and and things a lot of times don't really give you the best idea of the actual capacity of the pack. So we're gonna do our best to get all this in here in an organized manner and give you an idea. I was looking around for what we could stuff in here and take up all the space and I had some climbing gear handy so that's what we're gonna start putting in here. We'll start first with the rope and this is a 70 meter rope so it is a pretty big one

 Let's bring that along too. That'll stuff all this in here and there's that. Now, the nice thing about having this real heavy duty number 10 zipper on here is that you can kind of yank on this thing and tug on it and not worry about it busting out so I'll take both ends. That's kind of where these pull tabs come in handy

 These are not removable, so that could be one downside to this bag. You know, if I'm checking something at the airport, or even sometimes if I'm putting it in the overhead storage bin. Sometimes I like to take those, you know, big straps off just so there's not a bunch of stuff dangling off the bag. Unfortunately, that's not going to be an option for this bag, so take that into consideration if you are someone that prefers to remove these at certain points

 so on the the main side of the bag, on either side, there is a zippered compartment. It's not the biggest pocket in the world, but it is nice for smaller items and it is nice there's one on either side. They do have the Fjallraven Fox logo on this side, and on this side there's a G1000 logo. Again, not really something you think about it first, but in regular use it's kind of nice to be able to differentiate between those two and go

 We Did find that you can fit a 13-inch laptop within the thin mesh sleeve on top of the left-hand side compartment. But It's less than ideal. We've been testing the Fjallraven Splitpack for over a month now. And During that time, it's seen use as a one-bag travel pack on a 10-day trip to Portugal

 But Unfortunately,, it failed to deliver. Both The backpack and duffel-style carry were uncomfortable, and we were left questioning just who this bag would work for.. The Lack of a laptop compartment makes it inadequate for digital nomads

 Now The cons.: There is no laptop compartment. It lacks a water bottle pocket. And It doesn't provide a comfortable carry as either a backpack or a duffel

 Now At this point in most travel backpack reviews, we'd be talking about the laptop compartment. But We won't be doing that in this one because the Fjallraven Splitpack doesn't have one. This is a must-have feature for most digital nomads.
