 We got the lower bar installed and we did put the chain on this just so we don't run out of mast when we're lifting weight up here. Also added some white lithium grease to the rail that this slides up and down on and that seems to be doing the trick, they do give you some oil with the kit. So let's go ahead and do a little test on the curl bar, I just want to see how smooth this actually moves, if you curl this up and down, it's actually really smooth. Chain makes a bit of noise but we can adjust that

 Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. We're back in the home gym and we're here to bring you a bit of an update on a previous video that we did when we installed and assembled the fitness reality power cage. So since then, we've added an Olympic bar and a quality bench. We've added a couple of an assist for doing squats

 So let's go ahead and do a little test on the curl bar, I just want to see how smooth this actually moves, if you curl this up and down, it's actually really smooth. Chain makes a bit of noise but we can adjust that. Another thing I'll point out is the pins on the back here are set up for 1 inch standard weights and we've got Olympic weights here but putting these Olympic weights on these pins they're actually quite steady, I don't have the clips on here that they give you. You can get adapters that increase this to 2 inch with sleeves but I think I'm going to leave this the way it is for now

 Any less space would be too tight to comfortably lift. Any more would take up space for other equipment in your workout area. Perfectly sized for my needs. -The paint quality and finish is not cheap

 -The Price. When I bought this rack a month back, with was ~$250 without the attachments. That's incredible for the level of quality and costistency offered by this Power Rack. Even if the rack has increased in price due to lack of supply, this is still worth the price point

 And of course, I was looking for a product with the best value. I also did not have the option to bolt down a rack or bolt a rack to a studded wall, since it was going to be in an unfinished basement.  I researched all of the top brands and read/watched many online reviews (shout out to Cooper at Garage Gym Reviews!). Pretty quick, it became clear that there were two options: go with a top brands like Rogue or go with a budget-friendly brand, many of which can be found on Amazon

The essentials and the value

We'd all love to have a 3K Rogue power rack, but that's just not in the cards for many, myself included. However, weight is weight and you can still get just as strong with equipment that is at a minimum functional and safe. For 300 bucks, this rack will hold a bar loaded with weight safely and allow pullups and other attachments, which is indeed affordable and effective. That being said, I did encounter some quality issues that while are not a complete deal-breaker, are rather disappointing and should be addressed by the company

3) There was grit, grease, and black grime all over the stands and braces. I understand the bolts and nuts needing some oil to prevent corrosion during storage, but I had to wipe the assembled rack down with lysol wipes to clean it up. You get what you pay for, and this thing will hopefully get me in the 300, 400, and 500 club. If it does that, it will have been a good buy

Quality to Cost Ratio

 I received the model without the stabilization bracket, however it seems to be stable so far. I could not find in the instructions the weight capacity of the pulleys and the cable - I emailed the support to get that answer. I may upgrade the plastic pulleys, carabiners and pulleys at some point as I have concerns with them supporting over 100lbs. So far the system works well, the movement of the weights up and down is smooth, and the cage is stable

 I highly recommend using actual tools - putting this together with the free wrenches in the box would have been a challenge. When looking at the parts provided, I realized there are two different models in the advertisement photos - one with a stabilization bracket at the top, and one without. I received the model without the stabilization bracket, however it seems to be stable so far. I could not find in the instructions the weight capacity of the pulleys and the cable - I emailed the support to get that answer

 I will say that the lack of knurling on the pull up/chin up bar is disappointing, and I'm no fan of rubber/foam grips on the pull down and low row bars. Easy fix for the attachment bars (chrome knurled accessory kit), not so much for the chin up bar which is part of the rack and adds structural support. The stability of the rack is quite good. I got nervous after reading some of the other reviews as I was waiting for the rack to arrive

 Either FR changed the design or I’m missing something because all it takes to attach the pads is to hold the bar in place as you slide the pins in the proper set of holes. 30 seconds, just as easy as changing pin levels for any other reason and should not be a reason not to consider this product line. I’m glad I went through with my purchase and it is unfortunate that such misinformation can sway purchase decisions. Another review had assembly time with two people and proper tools at over three hours for the base rack

 Another positive and negative with the rack is the accessories on the plus side. There are attachments for things like dips, there's a landmine attachment and there's also a lat pull down thing that is never in stock ever having accessories like this is a great way to get a little bit more out of your rack. But that being said, there are a lot better accessories for the pr 4000 and 5000 series. Those racks have things like spotter arms, better j cups, better storage horns, they also have safety, straps and you'll wish that these were available for yours, it's kind of crazy to me that safety straps don't exist for the 1100, it does have safety bars, but they would Probably bend if you had to aggressively bail from a heavy squat, we have almost every accessory available for the pr 1100 and we've been happy with them, but you might have a little bit of envy for those accessories available for some of the higher end racks

Rep Fitness PR-1100 Power Rack Review

 Been using it for a few weeks and paint is already starting to come off not to mention rust is already building up on the inside. It would be better if there was a support bar at the bottom, but the only thing you really have keeping it stable is the Pull up bar at the top so it’s pretty wobbly.

It’s ok, but was expecting better.

 Everything looks great. I went with the freight delivery, I would have went with UPS Ground, so I wouldn't have to deal with that pallet, but it was $ 100 more for that shipping. So I just went with the freight I'll get rid of the pallet somehow and it came so. I had to preorder it basically because one of the one of the attachments, I think, was still on pre-order, so that took a couple days to wait for that, but other than that it came within a week, so I really impressed so far with rep

 It would be a metal-on-metal which I, like my bar, so I wouldn't do that to my bars. That'S why I like these and then the safety pins. I see with that light, but they're, a nice shiny chrome, which I like being in Nevada. It'S not gon na! Really be a problem, I don't think with any patina or rush rust, but if we were somewhere more humid that might be an issue

 So I just went with the freight I'll get rid of the pallet somehow and it came so.
