 We got a nice little invisible cutout ski here, sorry, with the construction, metal underfoot and tapering in towards the tail. Same thing in the forebody where it hooks into this carbon laminate and that extends up and goes into the tip. So this carbon nose does a really nice job of keeping the entry to the turn nice and easy and smooth, pretty low rocker profile for this ski. And so for that 90-92 underfoot to get a little bit more flotation that's where that longer and lower rocker profile and lighter tips make a big difference

 A little bit of carbon in the tail here stiffens it up, makes it a little bit more high performance and grippy which is a good thing. But really just one of these skis that if you're an East Coast skier looking for that true all-mountain ski does it all with that frontside mentality this 92 Ti is a fantastic option. There's just so many skiers that ask which one should I get and if this is on the list this is a good choice, it just has a nice blend of all of these things, finishes the turn really strong, pretty good flex to it, nice and stiff for that 92 waist and it's going to be pretty torsionally stiff as well, that metal underfoot does make a big difference. Again long low tip rocker here starts about where that carbon laminate starts on the side of the ski and in the tail not terribly dramatic, that is a nod to that frontside personality of this ski so really for that blend of carving performance exits the turn really well plus with that all-mountain and a little bit of free ride personality in there as well with the tip so a little bit more soft snow oriented up front but then through the middle and through the tail really responsive, really precise, great carving ski here, 171 here 16 meter turn radius so it does shorten up a little bit as those sizes get lower and just has that all-mountain personality to it that East Coast skiers are going to love this thing so check this thing out you know it's a second here now hopefully you know I'm really pulling for this ski to gain a good following because it's just a ton of fun and has a lot of different attributes make it really versatile so 2021 Fisher Ranger 92 Ti, check this thing out at SkiEssentials

 Today we got here the Fisher Ranger 92 Ti. This ski returns unchanged for this year and this is one of those skis that's kind of an under the radar performer. For one reason or another this thing just doesn't get the press that it deserves. 92 underfoot in the 179 I think it is, this is a 171 and this one is a 90 underfoot so it does change per length, makes the ski more consistent over the different sizes

And yeah, if you're like an East Coast skier here in Stowe and you want something that's still quick edge to edge and that can do pretty much everything, it could be a cool touring ski like Duke PT or Shift or something like that.  I think when you get up into the 99, it feels a little bit more demanding just because it's like there's more mass back there. But yeah, this 92, you know, like, I'm kind of thinking back to when we reviewed that Ranger 94 FR, there's a lot of similarities in this ski. It's just a little bit more like responsive out of that tail. Right

 But the way they shape that wood, you know, their arrow shape design makes it bite in a little bit more. So it's not, you know, it's not an overly demanding ski, especially, you know, you think about a Ti, you know, you think that that thing is going to be really stiff, but it's not, you know, it's very pliable and, you know, friendly to maneuver around. So it's just a blast, especially on kind of these variable early season conditions we have. Yeah, I feel like we talk a lot about the differences between the Ti and the FR Rangers and how these have a flatter tail

It doesn't get the same attention as some of the Fischer Rangers, but the 92 Ti is a fantastic ski that's highly versatile.

Instead of having to pack a ski for groomers and a ski for powder days, the Nordica provides you with an all-in-one option.  98 is a very happy medium, fantastic color weight, beautiful beautiful, looking ski nordica's nailed it again: um great ski [, Music, ], [, Music ]. You 

 Love really completes that turn really drives into the turn. I like that. A lot um 98 underfoot for norway, perfect yeah it'll, give you a little bit of float uh when there is some snow today we have hard pack - and this was this - is perfect. Um so again, don't be afraid to go a little bit longer in a ski

 It'S got like the metal sheets that i quite like, because it gives a lot of stability. It'S poppy, it's pivoty, it's fun, um fabulous, didn't feel too much at all on this uh groom. These groomed conditions here at northway we're getting really hard packed. So the edges were fantastic made

NORDICA SANTA ANA 98 | 2021 SKI TEST

 Rather than a high speed tool for strong skiers, this feels more suited to being an everyday ski for intermediates, but at a price point most skiers would be happy with. And that trickle-down graphic from the more freeride-focussed models does make for genuine good looks and rack appeal.
