Not very satisfied with what appears to be a very short battery life on these Bluetooth filters. I bought two sets of each for my two units (different sizes) five months ago. Installed the first pair, and they worked very well. Got down to 3%, and I went to replace the filters

I order these 3M filters on a regular basis. The filters work fine however the last two times they have come damaged I couldn't tell that there was enough damage on a box to cause this kind of issue. I keep my filters in the box until I need them because it keeps them nice and straight and when I opened one that's too late to replace I noticed it's damaged beyond belief and the second pair that I have to bother to return is also damaged. Now I don't know how they're getting damaged but they need to either pad the box so any kind of pressure doesn't affect the delicate makeup of the filter or if they went in damaged

I also really think that they help with allergies and breathing better (less snoring) at night. They are too pricey (so one star off), but given that the technology works and does something useful, I think that they are worth the extra scratch for piece of mind and health benefits. (I got the 2200 MPR which I think is like Merv 16 or so - super good filtration of small particles, which should include the particles from wildfires).

Goodness, I don't remember my filters being this dirty so quickly in my house! This apartment obviously is much smaller in square footage, although I do have two Persian cats. Between my Honeywell air filters, these 3M Filtrete filters, and my Rainbow vacuum cleaner - it really does control the dust/dander in my small space. Lastly, I should mention that I also have asthma. I trust this product and will continue to use it

If you love someone with allergies, you will know how terrible it is when you can't do anything to help them. I wish these filters had been available when my son used to suffer from seasonal allergy. This is not a luxury purchase. Now, I have not done a side-by-side comparison test, though I do have some less expensive filters sitting there just in case - or maybe I'll throw those in, in the winter months (which is about 7 months per year here)

One can even make an inexpensive quality air cleaner with an ordinary household fan and and air filter simply taped to it as is demonstrated by a Professor at the University of Michigan on you tube. Really a need for most homes in all American cities today.

So though this is the correct size for our model we rotate the filter we use in order to use the whole filter which I will provide a photo below to show what I am explaining. The filter on its own though is amazing. We noticed a lot less particles coming up through our vents from this filter and for the time we have had it so far it does seem to be picking up much more of the dust and dirt that comes through. I wish the app had been available for me to use on my phone because then I could tell you just the difference in time that it would between changes but I am thinking of changing to this filter even without the app because I have noticed a much more improved quality in the air and I am not dusting every week because of white particles being everywhere

The Filtrete 20x25 size is also a good, snug fit, unlike some brands that are slightly smaller. However, as soon as the evening temperatures begin to fall below 40, I find that even a new filter will restrict air flow so much that I need to stand on a ladder to feel any heat coming from the ceiling vents. When I replaced it with a cheap fiberglass filter, the air flow greatly improved, but I also began to sneeze a lot and can see more dust on my furniture, so it's a double-edged sword, so to speak. In summary, I recommend this filter if you can get enough air flow from your vents to warm your home without putting too much stress on your heating unit

The final nail in the coffin for me was that after this was all uninstalled and I had replaced the filter with a decent allergy / pet filter that is just as highly rated and at about half the cost of one of these, it auto placed an order for me which I had to immediately jump in and cancel before it shipped out. It’s designed to be convenient and a set and forget type of thing, but I’d say it fails at that. At least in my case.

I inserted it in our central air furnace and could not believe the difference! He slept well all night without a sniffle or stuffed up nose! These filters really work exceptionally well. Now I have to convince his school to install them because he and many other classmates suffer from allergies and it makes it hard on them to perform their best. Trust me, these work great. So the app is worthless which means I could have saved money and got one without this feature. Outside of that I feel it helps with cleaner air. Next time I will order as close to this as possible without the Bluetooth feature.

It is really so efficient and has lived up to all the claims. My house I so clean and healthy. I feel much better too about spending the money.
