I love the 1900

It does say they can last up to 3 months but find with the size of our house we need to change them every month. We do see an improvement using the filters.

I started using 1500 moved up to 1900 and I love both of them and recommend them to anyone who has allergies or a family member who does. Before my son could not rest well and sneezed constantly. I thought if I dusted and vacuumed everyday it would be ok. It wasn't until I started using Filtrete 1500 -1900 that he was able to stopped being so missable

Increasing the health of our air!

I set these up on subscription, we have two asthmatic kiddos and it is important to us our air quality at home is pure. Great filter, not inexpensive but worth the investment.

I've been using Filtrete air filters in my A/C since my house was built.  First I started with the red filters (1000), but upgraded to the purple (1500) ones and now the blue (1900) version.  The 1500 and 1900 versions have much more filter surface area to catch particles than the 1000 version so I use only those now.  But frankly, I can't say whether the blue 1900 version is any better than the purple 1500 filter

 I know they are a lot cheaper in price than the major brand, and our forced air system seems to work like it always did, and perhaps the air is just as clean as when I used the major brand's very expensive filters. But I can't say for sure - I have no way to test them. If you want to save a lot of money, then buy these - they seem to be performing the same as the MERV 12s I used to buy for a lot more money. Other than that, the 6-pak is handy, and the box they come is very thick and heavy cardboard material - which I use for floor protection while working on our old house

What do I know?

 I will not be returning these but will think twice about ordering again. Perhaps shopping local is the way to go.

 These Nordic Pure filters work great and are almost half the cost of the Filtrete ones for the same quality  The only difference is the packaging. These come directly from the manufacturer (based on what I saw), so they're not packaged like the Filtrete ones, which I really don't care about as my main reason for buying these is performance and not marketing.

.  I decided to give these filters a try. They are affordable and delivered to my porch is much preferred to fighting my way to the big box home improvement store 30 minutes away.  I put the first one in and not 20 minutes later my wife asked me why the air smelled "clean"
