Horrible battery life, fussy battery doors that break easily, questionable accuracy (both that I own show too much power). PowerMeterCity.com is a wonderful, knowledgeable resource, I highly recommend spending a bit more for a good crank power meter like Power2Max or Quarq. If that doesn't work I'd like at those Favero Assioma pedals, that's what I would have bought if they made some that were SPD compatible

Good power meter suggestions

 The peloton obviously measures power on its own as well. I did a few rides and there seemed to be a big difference in the wattage I was producing on the peloton vs on the bike.

I recently got a peloton and favero assioma duo power meter pedals. I bought the pedals so I can compare my effort levels across 3 different ride types: peloton while watching kids, steel bike while towing kids, and aluminum bike while wife watches kids. The peloton obviously measures power on its own as well. I did a few rides and there seemed to be a big difference in the wattage I was producing on the peloton vs on the bike

 And then in regards to installation, it's super easy. You'll install these just like pretty much any other pedal on the market using an eight millimeter Allen wrench, making sure to include the pedal spacer, which actually is included, so the pod doesn't rub up against your crank arm. From here, you'll register the pedals from within the smartphone app, and then you'll want to do a zero offset to ensure the most accurate power numbers. And in regards to power accuracy, I compared these to other sources that have proven to be reliable and accurate, including the Tacx Neo 2, the Wahoo Kickr Core, as well as the recently released Wahoo Kickr Bike

 They're priced very competitively, they've got a nice suite of features, and most importantly, they're pretty darn accurate when it comes to power, and they've remained accurate over the last 11 or so months that I've used them. Favero Assioma Power Meter Pedal In-Depth Review

 When it comes to power meter pedals, the Fera Asiomas may not be the first name that comes

 to mind, but there's some good looking, easy to install power meter pedals that have a

 great price point and most importantly, they're pretty darn accurate.

 In fact, I use the Asiomas as well as a pair of Garmin Vector 3s when I'm testing power

 So I've been using this pair of Fera Asioma dual pedals for about the last year or so

 and today I'm going to tell you what I liked about them, what I didn't like about them,

 go over the power accuracy as well as some of the advanced cycling dynamics.

 Oh, and really quick, if this video does help you out at all, or if you found it interesting,

 So first off, there's going to be two different versions that you can get of the Asiomas.

 There's going to be the Asioma Uno, which is going to collect power from just the left

 pedal and then doubles that power for your total power output.

 And then the Asioma Duos, which collect power from each pedal independently, which is going

 And there's obviously advantages to collecting power from both pedals and we'll go over some

 of those details later on in the video, but the nice thing is, is that if you don't have

 the money up front for the Duo, you can actually just purchase the Uno version and then later

 on when you do have the money, you can actually purchase an update or an upgrade to the right

 side pedal to enable power to be transmitted from the right side pedal.

 But it will save you a little bit of money just to purchase the Duo straight up front.

 In regards to the pedals themselves, Favero did a good job making them pretty attractive.

 They have a sleek looking design, but you may notice this rather large pod on the end

 And on this pod will be charging points for the rechargeable batteries.

 This would probably be the only thing I could complain about in regards to the aesthetics,

 but once it's mounted, it's really not that noticeable.

 Favero advertises up to 50 hours of battery life and I was easily able to get that much

 And even after about a year of using them, I haven't really noticed any battery drain.

 To recharge the pedals, you'll simply attach the charging cable, which uses magnets to

 They also include a small dual USB charging brick with a bunch of international adapters.

 And overall, I like this system quite a bit.
