So these are duo dual sided power meter left and right of course and they retail for 569 euros or 699 pounds while the uno a single sided option is 364 euros or 49 pounds you can buy the uno and upgrade as a latest date to the duo dual sided power meter for 352 euros or 409 pounds and before I get into the box and more details Let's put on the scales and see it away. Of course, they will be heavier than a non power meter pedal That's a given. Let's see what they actually weigh So 152 grams for one pedal and 304 grams for two pedals So that is the price and weight dealt with go to one side and let's move on to some other aspects So we have a look keo compatible platform Which uses a similar three bolt cleat to shimano's SPD SL open on the box so As a box pedals already out Lots of manuals and here are the cleats Which are a familiar cleat to many of you So the same as a look keo three bolt cleat go bolts and adapters in there very similar visually to a shimano SPD SL but of course not compatible with each other if you already use look keo You'll be fine with these if you're using shimano SPD SL and you're not willing to make a change Then it may be an issue and personally I can switch between look and shimano no issues at all I find them very very similar I know some people who use a shimano SPD SL aren't prepared to move away from that system that ecosystem are used to And especially if you have lots of shoes and cleats that could be an expensive upgrade But there are rumors of a shimano version will come out soon, but all rumors at the moment So look keo three bolt cleat go bolts and adapters in there very similar visually to a shimano SPD SL Look keo cleats so easy to set up do that in another video and You get An allen key in there

 It's definitely not as much as some others that are coming out of the market soon Okay price wise for the duo 654 euros 800 US dollars 700 pounds about 1200 Aussie dollars The UNO is a lot cheaper again. It's only half the pedal. Well, you get two pedals, but half the technology in them They are upgradable, but that's the price point for the duos. Okay wrapping this one up for today I'd have no hassles whatsoever Recommending this is a power meter solution if all the boxes have been ticked with what you've seen so far as always the choice Is ultimately yours do your research jump over to DCRandMaker

 This is Instantaneous angular velocity. Fiverro have published a 27 page doco on what IAV is all about But look in a nutshell with the latest firmware Your Fiverro Asiomas will be accurate in the saddle out of the saddle with round rings and with Osymmetric rings or non round rings if you're into that this now brings the Asiomas into line with the power tap P1s and the rotor Power meters which are compatible with non round rings now just quickly looping back to the Bluetooth connectivity of these pedals The Asioma Duos are two independent Bluetooth power meters. There's no single combined channel Like you see with the Vector 3s They're very similar to the power tap P1s where if you're using a head unit or system that can only connect to one power At a time you'll connect to one pedal and then it will double it So effectively turning the Asioma Duos with those systems over Bluetooth into the UNOs same with the power tap P1s It will turn them into a P1s I have tested this myself with Zwift on Apple TV connected to one of the pedals and it did double the number on the Screen so the numbers were correct, but it did turn my Duos into an UNO with the Bluetooth connectivity The workaround for that would be if you have a system that does support ANT plus to use the ANT plus channel Which is the dual left and right combined and your true data So there's all the details the specs and the theory behind this power meter. Happy days there on the data front from the Assioma duo pedal So no dropouts cadence was good and no right power sensor missing messages coming up on my head unit So I guess in summary they're light they're accurate

 So that's looking pretty good for that. The Asiomas have active temperature compensation Which for me is a must-have if you're riding outdoors cleat wise they are look compatible cleats supplied So they get a set of red Expedo six degree float cleats you can use look cleats look compatible cleats I've been using the zero degree cleats that I've been using with the power tap P1 pedals Just fine. Fiverro offer a two-year warranty on this product.  For weight, they will depend on which pedal body that you're going to be using, but with the Altegra pedal bodies, they'll come in right around 156.8 grams versus the original Asseoma Duos, which are a smidge less than 152.4 grams. And then just for comparison, the Garmin Vector 3's come in at 159

 Taking these outside compared to a Quark crank based power meter, the numbers were again pretty close. I found that Quark Road and Mountain power meter crank sets tend to report a little bit high. So that's what we see right here there in terms of the slight difference in average power. And if we dive in and take a closer look, we can see that the Assema Duo SHI's were a bit more sensitive than the Quarks, but still overall, they were very close

 So I used them along with a pair of Garmin Vector 3s for a lot of bike trainer power accuracy testing along with a lot of other reviewers because they just work. So it's nice to see Fibero offer an option for those who prefer Shimano SPDSL cleats. So just like the originals, they provide plus or minus 1% power accuracy, and I'll have some examples of that later in the video. They provide cadence as well as what Fibero calls IAV cycling dynamics, which consists of more advanced cycling dynamics data like your pedal power phase as well as standing versus seated time

 Alright folks, so these are the brand new Fibero Asioma Duo SHI Power Meter Pedal Spindles which allow you to get the phenomenal power accuracy found on the original Fibero Asioma pedals, but now you can use them with Shimano SPDSL cleats versus the Look cleats on the originals. Everything comes back into line 185, 182 Within a few watts Jumping inside now to the llama lab test up against the Elite Direto XR and the ACM duos and the Njiko Just riding along before we get stuck into the llama lab test full We have 119, 118, 117.9 all within a watt or two That's no problems at all given the ups and downs on that drilling down into the llama lab test short for this I wasn't seeing any drifting whatsoever with this unit So I skipped on the 10 minutes and switched them back to fives for this and you can see there the numbers line up Very very well 233, 232, 231.5 All good into the sprint And as close as you will see for such a short sprint there So the power to max 1299 the ACM is 1308 and the Elite Direto It's just a few watts under there at 12

 The unit that I've tested on the bike this week is the road NG Eco Which I will call the NGco. NG standing for next generation, which is released a few years ago now. Eco I believe stands for economical because this is the trimmed down version of the NG model on features and on price The specific version that I have is a 110 BCD 4-bolt rotor crank compatible version Which I match with Shimano Dura-Ace chain rings with a claimed weight of the spider itself the NGco of 158 grams We will put that to the test. Onto the specifics of this unit It's a spider-based Power Meter

Absolutely Looks like to be well within the plus or minus two percent of accuracy there And can I use this power meter as a baseline to test other power meters against absolutely I can the downsides I had to come up with some downsides of this I think the battery door cover is probably the only downside of this unit They're five dollars each to replace and they're kind of vulnerable I guess if you're using this as a gravel bike and you're a bit sketchy with How you ride the trails or go through sticks or something? It can be knocked off So as a roadie not an issue, but something to be aware of with that battery cap design So that's a wrap from me on this one the power to max ng eco spider base power meter It was great to finally install something on the bike that I was happy and confident with from pedal stroke one through to pedal stroke Few thousand down the road. There was nothing I had to question about this unit It's a rare occurrence these days that I don't need to contact the manufacturer and ask questions. Is it staying on the bike?  I did check for new firmware versions There's none for the unit that I have so it's always a good thing to check for firmware Anyway, I'm also hoping within this code is some updates to the iOS stability when updating firmware I didn't have the best of times updating my NG code with iOS. It worked a lot better on Android Okay, here we go in the llama lab connecting to the power to max NG code with the new utility Takes a few seconds to connect That's got the connection just pulling up all the information over Bluetooth And There we go. We have battery state and we have a few other things on the screen We can click through so let's get started by clicking on device information Everything there is in check. So back to the main menu and we'll click on upgrade now I've already clicked on the trial period enable and that was 14 minutes ago You can see that on screen and that's given me additionally balance smoothness and torque which weren't there as part of the standard offering with The NG code power and Bluetooth were always there, but I now have those three additional data points for the trial period So the trial period is enabled we can jump over to settings and we have a few more settings So we have auto zero on we have ant plus on power adaption We'll click on that changing the calibration we can scale up to plus 15 percent or we can go down to negative 15 percent Yeah, nobody's got time for negative 15 percent power reading
