 At 95mm underfoot, the Dictator 2.0X is a versatile off-piste performer that's more than capable in deep snow but you might want something a little wider if you're heading in the direction of Japanese powder. All in all, a really solid, if not particularly playful ski that will satisfy powerful, confident female skiers. Whilst it definitely requires a solid drive, if you like to be in the front then you'll be pleased with how the Dictator 2

0X is a classic freeride, flat tail ski that demands to be skied with power, commitment and grandes cojones (or the female equivalent). With two layers of Titanal surrounding a lightweight poplar/paulownia core, the Dictator 2.0X has been built with strength and stability in mind and delivers excellent edge hold if you fully commit to the carve.

The Völkl Kanjo 84 is designed to bring the classic construction and shape of skis like the Kendo and Mantra to a more approachable place. It's an excellent option for those beginner to intermediate skiers out there who are looking to take it up a notch without feeling overpowered by their ski. That being said, the Kanjo is no slouch. With a titanal plate underfoot and Völkl's 3D radius sidecut, this ski is able to perform to a high standard on firmer snow.
Key Features:
- Tip & Tail Rocker – Though not aggressive, the tip and tail of the ski have enough rocker to help with quickness edge to edge. It also provides just enough float and flex for small amounts of soft snow.
- 3D Radius – 3 different radii in the tip, tail, and underfoot ensure that this ski is responsive and smooth at any turn length.

 Today we got a Volkl Kanjo 84 for you, and this is one of those really kind of overlooked

 skis that a lot of people would be super comfortable on and have a great time.

 It's right in that narrow side of all mountain, kind of blurring the lines of front side and

 all mountain, definitely gets overshadowed by the Kendo 88 for sure, and then kind of

 But this ski really strikes a nice balance for skiers that spend kind of an equal amount

 of time on groomers or in adventurous types of terrain.

 It's built with a Volkl's multi-layer wood core and has a glass frame to it.

 So the big thing about the glass frame is that it really wraps around the outside of

 So much like we see the titanal frame in the Kendo and Mantra skis, this one gets fiberglass.

 And so that makes it a little bit lighter, more maneuverable, quicker for sure.

 You're going to lose a little bit of stability and damping properties because it's not metal,

 but for who it's for and what it does, it's pretty impressive how much energy you get

 And then we do get a titanal binding platform under here.

 So there is some metal to the ski, it's just not as structural as it is in the Kendo and

 But great choice overall for that intermediate to advanced skier.
