 At 95mm underfoot, the Dictator 2.0X is a versatile off-piste performer that's more than capable in deep snow but you might want something a little wider if you're heading in the direction of Japanese powder. All in all, a really solid, if not particularly playful ski that will satisfy powerful, confident female skiers. Whilst it definitely requires a solid drive, if you like to be in the front then you'll be pleased with how the Dictator 2

 It is approaching a little because of its weight, but because of its shape and width, it definitely is more towards someone who knows what they're doing out there, who knows how to connect their turns, who can play between those conditions. I think that's what's the benefit of the QST, is it really is meant for a variety of conditions. Great in Vermont, if you have one ski and that's all you can afford, put a shift binding on it. You're going to be able to go uphill, you're going to be able to have a powder day and get some float

You're also going to be able to carve on those days that are brutally icy here. Again, another one ski quiver for a western skier, someone who likes to hit the back bowls, but really doesn't want to sacrifice with weight

 I'd recommend putting a shift binding on it, using it as your uphill ski. You're going to get great performance downhill, but you're going to not be fatigued going uphill with a late weightness. Another technology they've added in here along with their carbon and flax weave is that they put cork in their tips and the tails. That just helps dampen the ski and make it a little smooth

 You're also going to be able to carve on those days that are brutally icy here. Again, another one ski quiver for a western skier, someone who likes to hit the back bowls, but really doesn't want to sacrifice with weight. They're going to have a great time on this, have the performance that they want, but not have tired legs after a long day of skiing out there. I'm going to suggest some skis but if you're skiing mostly on icy or man made conditions these skis might be wider than you need. Aslo: Start with boots, but dont ask us about them. hey everyone! I started skiing this year, fell in love, yada yada. I'd say I'm a solid intermediate at this point, hoping to graduate to \*advanced\* this coming season because I'll be skiing a ton.  I'm 5'7, 112lb, 21 years old. 

I'm looking for playful, all-mountain skis that I can hopefully grow in. For cost reasons (re: 21 years old) I'm pretty much limited to used skis, so here's my strategy – pick a few good skis that would fit the bill from 3/4 years ago (like the 2018 season) and start hunting on ebay, newschoolers, etc. 

Does anyone have good ski targets? Thank you in advance for your wisdom and I wish you many powder days ahead &lt;3
