Another ski in that class I’m a huge fan of is the Moment Commander 98. It’s super versatile and fun in everything from hardpack to fairly deep pow and is especially good on steep terrain. They’re quick and easy to throw around off trail and in tight places, but have a lot of backbone and no problem handling rough snow. Don’t be afraid of the 182cm at your height and weight

8 years ago, I posted here asking for help buying my first pair of skis, and I ended up with 173 Blizzard Bonafides. I've ski'd them over 500 days since then, and loved every minute. I'm in the market for new skis, and thought once again, I'd ask for some advice.

I love to ski fast, over the entire mountain, with big S turns. My kid takes me on the steeps, which I don't love, but can handle. I think I'm looking for something similar to the Bonafides - an all-mountain ski, maybe a bit longer. I'm currently 45 years old, 5'10", and weigh around 165. Any help would be amazing! Thanks again /skiing!

 Ended up using a Fluke probe. The TDR function needs to be calibrated for the exact length you need or simply use it as an approximate measurement. That’s wasn’t the primary purpose of my purchase.
