 At 95mm underfoot, the Dictator 2.0X is a versatile off-piste performer that's more than capable in deep snow but you might want something a little wider if you're heading in the direction of Japanese powder. All in all, a really solid, if not particularly playful ski that will satisfy powerful, confident female skiers. Whilst it definitely requires a solid drive, if you like to be in the front then you'll be pleased with how the Dictator 2

0X is a classic freeride, flat tail ski that demands to be skied with power, commitment and grandes cojones (or the female equivalent). The Reckoner Alliance are K2's freeride ski designed for women who are looking for a playful ski that can perform strongly off-piste and during occasional laps through the terrain park. An Aspen Veneer wood core provides a lightweight construction and very energetic feel underfoot. The overall ski profile is a twinned rocker-camber-rocker design that lets the skis float easily and pivot quickly with a light and even swing weight, while still holding a proper edge when carving at speed. For women looking at the Reckoner Alliance but need a longer ski, the men's version features the same construction but comes in an additional 179cm length.

 So really something to keep in mind and another thing that's very commendable to K2. So 92 under foot, that's going to be appropriate on groomers in the terrain park, but also in some softer snow conditions, off trail, off piste scenarios. Really gives it a fun, versatile feel. You can take it just about anywhere and I think it's really cool that manufacturers are kind of putting a little bit more emphasis and more attention on this style of ski in this price point because I think there's a lot of skiers that can benefit and really have fun on a ski like this

 It gives it a strong but playful flex pattern, that Aspen veneer wood core. Nice and supple flex pattern there. 92 millimeters under foot, so pretty wide. I think it's, again, impressive that K2 can get a ski in this width range at this price point

 But that good positive camber underfoot here is you know bookended by some longer rocker profile in the tips starting about here low and gradual and then a little bit of a jut out at the end leading to a pretty moderate splay you know good for a ski like this that's going to do a little bit of floating in fresh snow but really is better suited for on trails on trail skiing. Tail rocker pretty similar to the tip as well that profile you know probably a little bit less of splay in the tail but still you know I would call this a twin tip in a freestyle sense as well as a free ride sense so you really get in the best of all worlds that with this ski here you know we really like these twin tips for both all mountain directional skiing as well as freestyle application so they do have you know multiple lines for mounting purposes you know more center for more freestyle further back for more directional skiing but a really nice fun surprisingly energetic ski coming out of K2.  Part of the reason they do that also is to give it a nice even flex, this thing has some really nice flex to it for sure, going to be an awesome choice for all-mountain skiing but also just a nice you know if you're in the park pipe all day this thing will do it as well, definitely more like that directional freestyle ski leaning more to that freeride category. Like a lot of K2 skis we see a really good amount of positive camber underfoot and that's going to when you have a ski that doesn't have a whole lot of different materials in it or you know energetic materials like carbon or metal putting the camber into the ski gives it that energy that's really really fun for groomed trails snap and pop out of the turn as well as in the park gives you good carving energy off the lips helps you really kind of you know use your momentum to complete your spins and your tricks.
