 At 95mm underfoot, the Dictator 2.0X is a versatile off-piste performer that's more than capable in deep snow but you might want something a little wider if you're heading in the direction of Japanese powder. All in all, a really solid, if not particularly playful ski that will satisfy powerful, confident female skiers. Whilst it definitely requires a solid drive, if you like to be in the front then you'll be pleased with how the Dictator 2

0X is a classic freeride, flat tail ski that demands to be skied with power, commitment and grandes cojones (or the female equivalent). All right and what the course torsion control design does is it really makes the the skis very intuitive and precise in the forebody of the ski and then we gradually relax the torsional stiffness as we get towards the tail to make the ski very compliant in terms of being able to easily manipulate your turn shape both on piste as well as off trail in softer snow conditions. The way we achieve that with this ski which has an aspen and fir wood core you can see here it's got the variable x-weave carbon fiber strands which basically the angle here in the forebody of the ski is a lot tighter so it makes the ski very precise in the tip and then we gradually relax that angle as we get towards the back of the ski to make the ski's tail more compliant so it's easy to use and forgiving when you need it to be.  You know, you're probably making like quick turns on the side of the trail rather than big arcs in the middle of the trail. If that sounds like you, chances are the Mindbender C is the more appropriate model for you. I would venture a guess that both would work and you'd probably have a blast skiing both because they're both a lot of fun. But think about that if you're deciding between the two, if you're deciding between the 90Ti and the 90C

 Big range of skis in the Mindbender collection. This one, the 90C, certainly falls into the all-mountain category and it's quite, quite versatile at that 90mm underfoot waist width. As the 90C, this one uses carbon, so we get spectral braid in here instead of the titanal Y-beam that we see in the metal versions of the Mindbenders. So, overall similar concept, you know, they're kind of providing different amounts of torsional stiffness in certain parts of the ski, but by using carbon they do it a little differently

 And it kind of comes down to your skiing style. If you're more of a playful skier, like to make a lot of quick movements out there, you know, maybe you're like always looking for a new mogul line to ski. You know, you're probably making like quick turns on the side of the trail rather than big arcs in the middle of the trail. If that sounds like you, chances are the Mindbender C is the more appropriate model for you

 You know, I think a lot of people look at skis like this and just quickly assume like that's the intermediate ski and the 90Ti is the advanced expert ski. And like sure, that's not necessarily wrong, but I don't think that tells the whole story. You know, I think an expert ski can get on the 90C and have a blast. You know, I personally find some benefits to both models
