I just got on a wreckoning v3 and absolutely love it. Not the lightest frame but the delta system is unmatched.  Definitely check out gorilla gravity, RAAW madonna v2, evil wreckoning, transition sentinel or the new norco range or canondale jekyll

Love my Ripmo AF for downhill but as a smaller guy with skinny legs I would like to go carbon and get back on a lighter bike with more travel. I am looking at the Evil Wreckoning but curious as to what you would suggest for around $6,000 give or take. Prefer to buy new. I think I want to stay 29" tires but open to 27.5". For travel I would like 170f/160r or 160f/160r. My primary focus is downhill(mostly bike park in summers) but I do miss having a lighter bike I don't mind pedaling on 15+ mile days and not a slug uphill for climbing. I ride all year long here on the front range in Colorado and love heading out to Moab for the good chunk. Currently my Ripmo AF sits at 39lbs for bike park. Usually around 36 for pedaling season but I am 5'9" 140lbs with a fused ankle and skinny lets due to a motorcycle 10 years ago left me with a limp and a lot of pain so exercising mass/power into my legs is near impossible. I have the endurance but the power just isn't there. I'm ready to upgrade to something lighter and all around better. What would be a logical upgrade for me from my current bike to my next bike and more importantly why? People suggest bikes but never give me a reason why to pick that one. Open to all suggestions, thanks!

It&#39;s a simple question I am asking about what bikes you would suggest for my price and what I am looking for. I recently moved to the PNW and am looking to buy my first real mountain bike.  I will mostly ride at Whistler and other bike parks, but I definitely want to check out the single track in Bellingham and BC.

I'm an intermediate-level rider who loves to ride pretty much anything.  

Does anyone have a recommendation on a bike that works well at bike parks but also isn't painful to climb on?  I'm leaning towards an Enduro bike but would greatly appreciate any insight.  

Looking to spend $5k or less.  Thanks!

* Full suspension: Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp - great condition. The guy said it's from 2007. He kept it well maintained and comes with a bleed kit.

It sounds like the type of riding you'll be doing puts you in the full suspension category. The stumpjumper has always been a great platform.

Can't Decide Against Hardtail vs Full-Sus...

 I will say however my santa cruz had it all over the evil on paint finish, and frame finishing.

I am trying to decide between some bikes with a lifetime frame warranty. I've found an Evil Offering GX build, and a Santa Cruz Bronson C S MX build. Would love a hightower, but can't find one right now. I've heard that the offering is super playful, but seems like most people agree SC's customer service is hard to beat. Just looking to get some opinions from people that have owned some of these.
