This one is well made and seems like it will last a long time. It does provide a lot of relief and is comfy all day. However, I think it is expensive and am not sure it is truly justified when there are so many other mats out there at a much cheaper cost. If I was going to recommend one, I’d say to look for a mat that has a similar front edge and costs less

.and to add insult to injury, the now superfluous tray never showed up, despite being on the packing list. Refund please!

I work in an office on thinly carpeted concrete essentially at a desk stationary for 40 hours a week. I have a sit stand desk but legs would hurt from standing long. I had a thin mat to stand on but still had issues so investigated. I have tried several different mats and purchased this one because of its unique design and because of the reviews I read

The desk is functioning exactly as I need with the motor so far. I don't stand a great deal, although I'm trying to more just to get out of my chair. I'm a software architect as well as gamer, so most of my life is spent at my desk and it's important to me that I can have some decent posture and enjoy where my butt is planted all day and most nights. The motor raises and lowers the desk in respectable time

As a personal note, I work at home at a standing desk that is 78" long with two pcs that I work from, I have trouble keeping my feet on the flat part, some parts of my feet are almost always pressed against or on the raised lip, as I need to move between computers. Not really a negative, just would like more horizontal flat area in my situation.

You're supposed to double press the button you want to move the desk to that height. When I double press the first time, the desk never responds. It's as if the first time wakes the desk up and the second time I double press it will move. This really isn't a big deal because it always does move after the second round, but it is a little annoying that it doesn't operate exactly as it should

The NewHeights XT desk is 2 stage (3 sections to the legs) so it can go down to 24" and up to 51" so it accomodates all my variations -- including standing on the Bosu Ball (upside down, e.g. flat side up) with Topo on top.Pretty amazing to be able to adjust the desk and have a great set of resources for standing and sitting and variations in between

When seated, I have it at about 25". When raised to my preferred height, it's solid as a rock even on carpet (though I never need to raise it all the way).
