 The one I have here is a silver case equipped with Cherry MX brown and white LED backlight. The build material is metal and plastic. The top is aluminum with a sandblasted finish and a mirror bezel, while the bottom is plastic. This makes it feel solid while keeping it relatively light

MagicForce 68-key Mechanical Keyboard Overview Review

I'm looking for a compact keyboard that is relatively thin for the sake of ergonomics. I looked through the WIKI and the magicforce 68 looks okay, but it doesn't seem that reliable. I'm okay spending up to around $100 CAD for something that is better.

I don’t have it in my budget to buy a new keyboard, however I can get switches. I have a Cooler Master CK 550, and I want to swap the switches. I’ve never soldered before so the task is a little daunting. Any tips?

Seeing as it will cost me mad racks, this will also serve as my one and only endgame board.PARTS:- KBD67 Lite R2 (KBD Translucent Stabs)- Blue Gradient PBT keycaps- Lavender Switches + Frankenswitch- 205g0 for switches and stabs- Silicone Filler for lower caseBecause Lavenders are pretty expensive, I am considering using a different switch for the alphas, and then using the lavs for the numerics, but I would like to know whether an UMWHPE stem or cream stem would be better for the lavs to produce a deeper and smoother typing experience. This combination may be totally foolish and childish, but I am looking for a deep, rich, and smooth frankenswitch, so any suggestions would be great.\*I am planning on donut-dipping my springs with 205g0. If anyone has any suggestions of a better lube to use for this method that would be guchi gang.

I'm looking to buy a new mechanical keyboard. I've been looking at the Drop ALT keyboard since I like the look + the price is within my range (\~$200 USD). I've heard that the problem with the ALT is that the stabilizers are bad and the switches are north facing which would be hard to use Cherry profile keycaps on. I don't know that much about mechanical keyboards, so I'm scared to try and fix the stabilizers and other issues.   


So my question is if there are any 65% high profile keyboards similar to the Drop ALT, in the $200 range, that don't require me to mod anything?

 The font used is very reminiscent of the font used on older Apple keyboards and just looks so classy.

 The first had a slight wobble to it, the second had a chip out of the chamfered edge, and the third had a piece of the shiny logo paint missing. None of these imperfections effected the functionality, but for $80 I expect the item I'm buying to not suffer from this lack of quality control.  What put the nail in the coffin was two things: 1. Despite having a USB-C port in the back, the keyboard cannot connect to a computer via USB-C

  Sadly I ended up not staying with this keyboard though. I've gone through three of them and all three had minor imperfections. The keyboard I wanted to love

 Now we've reached the point of the video where we're going to be testing these keyboards. I will include results from both the brown and black switches and we're going to be doing both with and without a rings. [Music] My favorite are the black switches as I do like a linear switch, but the quality of the Ottoman Browns were notable. They are pleasant to type on and I've had absolutely no problems with scratching sounds and for that reason I have to recommend them over chaos switches

 Overall: I Really like this keyboard I've used MX blanks in all of my most expensive keyboards except for my happy hacking board and as soon as upon some custom key caps and earrings I think this thing could well be my daily driver.  They require 65 grams of force to actuate so they are heavier than MX Reds. They are linear and have no scratching sound. They have an actuation point of two millimeters and a total travel distance of four millimeters. In terms of key caps that they included set aren't great

 The first thing that is just so simple: this keyboard is smaller than any 10 keyless on the market and fits in with my desk well though cause he is great. The backplate is metal and the cable is removable which is a big plus for me. In fact, it's even routed through the back of the keyboard which is plastic. However, it's reinforced from the metal backplate so it's sturdy

 The gk61 that i have liked compared to other 60 keyboards, is that they have the function key all the way to the right, underneath the shift and then moved over the control key, where typically, the layout is going to be control all the way to the right And what that does for you on the amp pro 2 to use the arrow keys a little bit different? You just tap: either control uh, this menu button function or shift, and you tap it and it actuates the arrow key. But the problem with that is what happens if you need to hold the arrow key, but uniquely on the gk61, since having the function keys over here, you have your arrow keys, mapped right here as a secondary function, and you can very easily hold the arrow keys, Which eliminates the use for like the magic caps lock and all that stuff and having the wasd as your arrow keys, which is nice. But this implementation, i think, is a lot nicer and a bit more natural to people that are used to using tenkeyless, keyboards or full size or whatever, like i said in the beginning of the video, this keyboard is optical as well as hot swaps. You can try different gadoran optical switches in the sockets here

 Ppt keycaps and the price should stay the same if they can do that. Keep the price the same, keep the same low cost to entry on the optical hot, swap usb type-c small form factor gaming keyboard. I mean dang, you guys are killing it like. This is a really good deal for the price

 I didn't do anything to the clicks keyboard. This white one. All i did was spray lube, the gatorade silver optical switches and then the black one. Here i spray lubed, the gatorade yellow optical switches, modded the stabilizers as well, re-lubing them and band-aid modding them, and also added case foam in the bottom to eliminate a lot of the resonance in the case to make it sound a lot better and make the bottom Out more solid, why did i do all this? Well because we're going to talk about that, so the gk61 as a whole stock? It'S not a bad keyboard for the price, it's very hard to beat actually, and it gives you an incredible value like being able to get an optical keyboard for well under a hundred dollars is a really big deal like that is excellent, and it's not just optical Either it's optical, it's hot, swap, you can swap out and try different optical switches, even though i do think one of them is kind of the definitive switch, but with it being able to be optical

GK61 Review! Is It REALLY as GOOD as everyone says? (HK Gaming/Epomaker/Matrix Clix)

 The key presses go down into the case, and so you have no ting or Noah. You know kind of bell ring sound in there the metal plate underneath it of the keys right there very, very durable. As you can see, the bigger Keys use the anigh smocks, which stabilizers not just a metal bar, so whatever a key press, you you're using right there. It feels very stable and bounced across the board
