Customer service offered a full refund and for me to keep the pillow based on removing or changing my review, which I did not appreciate since I value honest reviews. I would rather return the pillow that didn’t work for me and get my refund and leave an honest review. However, I did adjust my review up a star since my original issues are no longer a concern (smell and size). I wish it helped my neck and shoulder pain as intended, but I did see upon rereading the info above (in small print) it says this pillow may not be helpful for severe cervical pain, a softer pillow may be needed

She chonk. Second, when it's warmer out or in your room, the Tempur material compresses down so basically both gel pads are nearly touching. Third, if you do a test and press your hand into just a block of memory foam or Tempur material, you'll see indents around your fingers as it cradles pressure on anything that pushes back - where as this gel - because it's in sheets - cradles an area of pressure - such as the back of your head, leaving your neck somewhat less supported than I feel it should because it's distributing weight over an area as opposed to directly to a pressure point and being buoyant in less supportive spots. This one is hard to describe but trust me

This pillow would probably work well if it was an inch or 2 taller. I have to put a towel under it to lift it more or I get terrible shoulder pain.

If you like to put yourself arms under it while side sleeping it is very uncomfortable. They are too expensive too buy the wrong size too. So think twice if you like to move your pillows much. 3 queen size pillows would’ve been a better option for the king bed
