 I Think this is what people say about the outdoor that doesn't sound like it wouldn't you? Chloe but doesn't sound echoing and hollow. A lunchbox see like a plastic you I Quite like the tone and that volume is pretty good. Actually, it's not quiet, there's no bends or dips in the top that you get on things like the Waterman. The neck is strengthened inside so it's not bending while wire effect and that volume is pretty good to sustain

 I Don't normally like delicate sound holes like that on wooden instruments because they're fragile. This isn't fragile. this is tough. You also though, get a side sample there as well

 I gave it 4 stars for sound and value while trusting that my complaint will likely be addressed. Later..

 I suppose if I really want to I can just return it and get another and gamble that the stringing will be better next time. My advice is to order some spare strings at the time that you order one of these in case you run into the same problems. I took one star away for the poor response so now it is 3 stars.

 This is my first Uke so I can't give you any meaningful information other than my friend's remark. I can update this with more info later. I gave it 4 stars for sound and value while trusting that my complaint will likely be addressed. Later

 The strings were in the wrong positions which means that the longer C and E strings were in the shorter G and A positions and were cut too short to be used in the proper position. I had to use the "spare" pack of strings to fix it - which means I have no spares now. I sent a message so we will see how they respond - (with a pack of strings if they are a good company). Yes I could have returned it but this seems so wasteful when a new pack of strings would be so much more economical for everyone

 The tuning pegs are typical for an inexpensive instrument, but aren’t bad. I’ve seen worse. It stays tuned while playing, but needs to be retuned daily. The E string needs more tuning than the other strings, which could be the string itself

I used to play a mandolin, so this is my first ukulele and therefore I can’t compare it to other ukuleles. I bought it to entertain my grandson, so I wanted something a bit more durable than wood. The sound is very good; warm; which is typical of carbon fiber. I would consider the string height to be a bit high

 I typically hate geared tuners, and will not accept them at all on a soprano, but these are as least obnoxious as they can be. Oh yeah, the case. Never saw one like it before but it's very nice. Nicer than most gig bags

 I was looking for new strings for it when I stumbled upon a YouTube review of the Enya Nova uke. I had seen it when it was announced at the NAMM Show but honestly I disregarded it since I wasn't in the market for a "plastic" uke (my son has 3 Waterman's) and I didn't care for the body shape. But, after going down the review rabbit hole, I figured I had nothing to lose considering the price and could return it since I was purchasing with Prime. I did consider the Acoustic Plus version but after just buying the travel uke I shouldn't push it

This instrument struggled to stay in tune even with weeks of playing. They eventually did adjust, and it ended up being a minimal inconvenience for the price of the kit. We observed that it made for good practice for kids just starting out to make sure their instrument is in tune. If you have a youngster that wants to learn to play the uke but wants something better than the plastic toys you find in the same price range, this makes a great beginner kit to add to your family
